Calling All Astral Projection Experts

I would like to consider myself to be a rather realistic person, and I don't find much interest in the supernatural. It wasn't until recently that I began listening to these really cool 3D effect sound tests...



...and in this one specifically I was listening to the introduction music with my eyes clothes with my bedside light on. I could see some of the light on the inside of my eyelids so I began to focus on it until it actually started growing bigger and bigger until a series of spiraling and flashing lights started appearing withinin the light and I actually felt myself being pulled upwards.

Needless to say I was scared sh_tless and jerked up in my bed and found myself sweating.

Afterwards I began searching the web for what had happened and stumbled upon Astral Projection

So... for any Astral Projection/Out of Body Experience experts out there:

What the Hell?

If this is actually Astral Projection and not me being completely insane, I'd like to get more involved. The idea of walking around as a "ghost" sounds interesting (although I'm assuming you can't actually interact with anything in the physical world, or see what the person in the next room is doing), and the sensation I got when it happened was pretty awesome.

Ha, that is quite the experience. Though you stumbled upon it seemingly by accident... It is amazing what you can find out. Oh, and Im here to tell you, like Goss, that you are not crazy! Congratulations

I have attempted AP and have succeeded a couple of times, both experiences very weird and awkward. Though every time I get close, because I practice this, I feel tingly like when your foot falls asleep or something like that and I hear a screeching noise like a train putting on its breaks. I see the light you do too

Oh, and good job doing it on your own! It took me forever to get it right, assuming that I am not crazy myself

Also, When listening to the video there is this tingling sensation right in the middle of my head. I had something like this a few months ago, and I had talked to my Algebra Teacher about it (used to teach psychology or something) and it's something about the two halves of you brain "sewing together". Any connection?
