A lot happened in a short bit of time. His first attack was more of a gauge, to check the strength of his foe. He had used only a fraction of his strength, not wanted to tear Miro apart.
He noticed him shout some words, though he did not know what they meant. Odd... He might have let it pass by if that was all that happened. Miro would not have hit the ground that hard if he had been taken down by Bones, and would have been hurt almost none at all with his padding.
Bones felt his weight for a bit, and a bit of pressure on his chest, though it was not to much. After all, he was used to the extreme pressure a squeezing snake could bring out, which could crush every bone in a man in seconds.
He watched as Miro flew up for a moment, kicked off with a sudden strength, and went flying landing on his face... That sudden surge of strength... Something was off about it... Bones was not sure what exactly, but there was something not right.... Not natural...
Soon enough Miro was back on his feet, and ready to fight once more. As he sprinted at him, Bones thought he tasted something off in the air, but was not sure what. For some odd reason MIro punched his fists together... Bones could not puzzle that one... What could he benefit from breaking his own hands??? Since besides showing off all that did was hurt yourself...
Another weird human thing. Then Miro came at him, trying to slam down his foot on Bones, with an odd speed, and it seemed to have a sheen... the odd way the light hit it... Regardless, Bones knew something was up... He was doing something to enhance himself... And though that might work in the short term, in the long term in would catch up with him, ending the fight as soon as it did.
For he was pretty sure this was some kind of magic, and magic tended to catch up on its users two fold. Whatever was going on though, Bones would fight the same.
Using his normal strength now, Bones tried to move a bit to the side, getting away from Miro's flashy jumping leap attack. Really, it just looked silly. In combat, no one made a jumping leap to do something. It was a waste of energy, if it failed you would get killed, and be left vulnerable to counterattack. Also it left you open for the other to do something, as a jumping leap committed you to itself as soon as you left the ground, leaving you open...
Bones did the simplest of things, not wanting to be overly wasteful. Using his full strength punch, which was nearly that of two and a half men, Bones punched the man right in the boot that was coming at him with an upward punch to the downward kick. If it hit, it would flip Miro backward, making him flip once more, and slam onto the ground , and possibly deflecting the kick from him.
'Rule number one of fighting, never try to ssslam your foot down onto a perssson taller ssan you. Ussse your height, and if you are sssmaller, try to hit them from below, not fighting to hit from above. Anyssing elssse isss a wassste of energy." |
