Basic Info
Physical Description: Animal form: Neve stands at 4 foot 1’’ and weighs 138 lbs in her animal form. Being larger than her cousin, the wolf, her size can come across as very intimidating. But she is an Ivaski, an Ivaski Kelvic at that. The Ivaski are a part of the canine breed and are considered to be dogs; however, they are more closely related to the wolf than they are to any dog. The similarities between the wolf and Ivaski are great, but the Ivaski do not show the same type of aggression as wolfs do. She is quite tame and won’t attack unless provoked. This behavior could also derange from being born and raised on the Konti isles. The Opal order took care of her and raised her with the other Ivaskis and Skyla Nivan. Her Ivaski form has a thick, white double layered fur coat. The first layer is a soft and gentle coat that helps her keep warm in even the harshest of elements. The second layer is a much thicker and courser coat. This layer is slightly water resistant and offers her light protection. Her coat has proven to be very helpful in the harsher and colder seasons. Most Ivaski have long and lean legs with very large paws, and Neve is no exception. Her long legs give her an advantage at traveling long distances. They might not make her the most nimble creature in the world. But those strong legs offer her a great advantage at running, and she loves to run. In between her toes is a thin webbing, which offers her an advantage when swimming across rivers and larger bodies of water. While sitting, her long legs give her an almost noble feeling about her. With her head held up high as she sits at attention, she almost looks like a guard dog fitting for a ruler. But never let this appearance fool you, for Neve is still young and quite childish. Neve has a beautiful pair of ice-blue eyes, like most Ivaski at her age. But her eye color could change as she matures, changing from a light blue to a dark brown or gold. These eyes have large, circular pupils, which seeminglessly fade into her Iris, Giving no real defined beginning or end from Iris too Pupil. The Ivaski are known for having great eye sight which helps them greatly while hunting, adding another advantage to her survival skills in the wilds. When she transforms, her large eyes are also prominent in her human form. These eyes have a very strong, piercing and watchful gaze about them. Making the person she is staring at feel pinned, or locked onto. When you make eye contact with her, you get the sense that she is staring directly into your core, which can be unsettling for some. Human form: Her Human form has a very subtle beauty to it. While one wouldn’t drop to their knees and bask at her beauty or anything. She would attract some attention when walking down a street if only because of her silver hair. While in her human form she stands at about 5’ 4’’ or 5' 6''. She has long slender legs that lead up to a fairly Poteet waist line. Her thick white and silver hair rests casually around her narrow face, in a slightly messy fashion. The length of her hair goes down to her mid back, as it parts slightly towards the left. Her bangs, shorter then the rest of her hair, lays just over her chest. Right above her almond shaped eyes, rest a pair of thin, silver eyebrows. Her eyebrows fade in slightly to her pale complexion, giving them an even thinner look than they might actually be. She also has a narrow nose compared to most other humans, which lead to a pair of thin lips. She has no facial blemishes that stick out or make her seem very notable. If one took away her silver hair and pale complexion, then people wouldn’t really be able to identify her by any other notable physical features, other than possibly wandering around naked. Character Concept: Unlike most other Kevlic’s, she has a very calm demeanor; she isn’t quick to act out in aggression unless it involves her food, or the ones she cares about. Neve prefers to fight smart, she would much rather track her prey down for miles and make them tired, then to just pounce. The thrill she gets from the chase is far more gratifying to her, than the actual kill of her prey. She would sometimes just track random animals purely out of the enjoyment of tracking them. But she will never kill unless she needs the kill to feed herself, or others. Neve is still young and this shows in the way she acts, Switching between maturity and childlike on a dime. One moment she would come across as a respectable young adult, the next as a five year old child. It’s very sporadic and entirely depends on how she is feeling in that moment or what catches her attention. She also has a very curious side and when one combine’s this with her good sense of smell and sharp eyesight…Well she has found herself in trouble numinous times. She was raised by the Konti in Mura, This had a great impact on her personality. Being raised by the gentle and emotionally sensitive Konti conflicted her Kelvic nature. However, her personality still has its quirks that could give you the feeling that there’s more than meets the eye with her. If one knew her base animal, many of her actions would make much more sense to them. Neve has a very compassionate side to her. This side of her is normally clouded over by her immaturity at the moment. But as she ages, more of her Human side will compliment her Ivaski side. Which will result in creating an individual who is quite tame, very compassionate, and has a great understanding of others. This will hopefully help her in her journey to finding what it is she desires for herself. She takes actions against nature very personally. Because Neve does not understand why people could mistreat and harm a gift that was given to them, especially a gift as grand and beautiful as the wilds. Character quirks :
Character History: Neve was born in the beautiful city of Mura, just inside the Konti isle. It was here that she was raised by the Opel order, where they taught her about religion, and the different gods and goddesses. The Konti isles is a string of islands that go across the coast of Mizahar, close to the Sylira region. These islands are covered with many lakes, forests, and even swamps where many different creatures live, such as deer, rabbits, birds and many more that are still unknown to this day. Her curiosity flourished with all the different scents and sights. However Neve felt out of place in the Konti isles. Her spuratic and Kelvic nature made it very hard for her to understand the Konti, who seemed so calm and collective all the time. She loved being with the other Ivaski’s and the other Kelvic. But, she had an unfamiliar feeling, an unfamiliar desire that welled up inside her chest. She was not sure what this feeling was, but it always made her feel restless. She was unsure what she wanted to do. But the one thing she did know was, whatever it was she felt, the answer wasn’t here. Neve felt like she did not belong with the very calm and sensitive people like the Konti. The Konti found it difficult to be around Neve sometimes. Being so sensitive to her emotions, they felt restless and slightly disgruntled at times. Her sporadic nature and strong emotions would sometimes overwhelm the Konti. This made it even harder for Neve, because she felt she had to try and keep composed at all times, which she did not feel comfortable doing. This was one of the reasons why she loved running. Running was a release for her, she felt free as she ran through the forests, resting in the leaves and dirt. It was here, out in the wilds, where she felt most at home. It was calming for her, to be away from the overwhelming pressure she felt while with the Konti. Character's Religious view: Ever since Neve was but only a season old, she felt a strong connection to nature and snow. As she became older, she believed that the nature and snow were living beings, or were created by living beings. She believed that, as her mother gave life to her, someone or something gave life to Nature and Snow. This gave her a strong desire to protect the land from people or things that threaten it. It was very common to find Neve relaxing in the snow, grasslands, or the fallen leaves around trees. She found this very calming and it made her feel closer to nature and snow. It wasn’t until she became older, did the Opel order start to teach her about the gods and goddesses. It was then, that she learned about Caiyha and Morwen. This interested her greatly, while she did not wish to sit down and study from a book about these goddesses. It did confirm her beliefs and made her feel even more devoted to them. Instead of worshiping Caiyha and Morwen by praying at a temple, she would often lay in the forests and snow, whispering to the wild life and saying her thanks. She felt a strong obligation to protecting the wilds, for both have provided her with protection, food, and shelter. The lush forests around Konti isles provided shelter from the elements. During the winter, the snow could be made into snow borrows, to help shelter her at night. The white snow also provided her protection and camouflage while hunting. She never killed more than what she could eat, she hated the idea of wasting or taking advantage of what was given to her. Skills Combat skills
