The Cosmos Center is an elaborately carved building of pale marble located to the direct right of the winding, decorative path leading into the city from the Amaranthine Gate. One of the latest buildings to be built for the benefit of visitors and newfound residents that trickle in, the light that shines from this building at night is far more prominent than the rest, like a beacon for those lost in the myriad of spectacles put on throughout the city.
The Center was built by a member of the Dawn house, a man by the name of Yasek Dawn. In recent years, his granddaughter has taken over the work he put forth to ease the transition of newcomers in their first days in Lhavit.
Upon entering the Cosmos Center, one would notice that it is relatively simple in its furnishings. Several artistically decorated desks made of pale wood are stationed off to the right, mostly occupied by secretaries ready to aid those who require assistance in obtaining a job, a residence, or simply require information.
The occasional potted plant can be seen around the circular room, and several parchment drawings adorn the walls. Directly left of the entrance, a glass case sits on the wall, with papers pinned inside detailing news, announcements, and other important information. These papers are updated and changed out daily by workers of the Stargazing Gazette.
If the main room is empty, which often happens as those working at the Center spend much of their time in the backrooms filing and organizing, a visitor need only tap the crystal bell on any desk three times to summon a secretary.
