5th day of Fall, 511 AV
Miro woke up from his nap late tonight. It was dark out, and very cool. He walked out to the courtyard as a cool wind greeted him. The moon was reflecting off of the weights that sat along the side of the wall. Miro began to stretch his legs out individually, pulling his muscles tight. As he shifted to stretching out his back, his legs felt a tender aching. Bending over, and back up, Miro finished his stretches.
Taking his warm up to the next stage, he began running. Keeping pace, letting his heart push itself against his chest with a rhythm. Slowly, the pace of his stride increased to a full run. He slowed to a stop after about a half hour, then switched direction. He about 10 minutes in, he began feeling the fatigue. Running was becoming hard, he told himself just a little while longer. He pushed his djed into his legs and chest. He used a bit of the Flux to push his speed up. His muscles burned in agony as they were pushed even further. His heart was reinforced with his djed. He would be able to hold his stamina up now, but once he stopped it would hit him three fold.
Miro finished his time and slowed down to a brisk walk, then slowly came to complete stop. He fell to the ground writhing in pain. His whole body ached from being pushed too hard to long. It took all of his concentration to hold in his screams. He continued to lay down as his body retaliated from being abused. Nearly two hours passed as he laid resting. His mind returned from the blackout. He stood up quickly. He felt a little aching, yet he felt stronger.
He walked up to the weight equipment that laid beyond. He prepped himself for the task by stretching his arms and throwing a few punches in the air. He readied himself down with the barbell that laid before him. He focused all of his djed into his center. He put his energy into his center and began to lift. First with his knees, then he shifted the weight through his core and into his arms. He pushed it up over his head, then back down. Up over his head agian, then back down. He repeated this for several reps, then lowered it to the ground in the reverse process of picking it up. After finishing, he stretched one more time and felt accomplished.
Sleeping most of the day away was never a good thing for your sleep patterns. However, if you need to sleep well, there is always the option of wearing your body down. A good nights sleep was only a room away, and he was ready for it. Returning to his bed, he fell forward without stripping his clothes and fell asleep, not waking til the morning.
