Dancing Across Your Soul

Well, hello there Mizahar!

My name, as I may later tell you all about, is Alice. I live in Canada and I have been avidly following certain writers for quite some time on this fantastic site. I wrote the CS’ for Alanys and Riley while studying the Lore extensively for what I have decided they would be, which has proved exhausting, and currently I am in the works on the CS of Loki, who I have had written partially for a while but who is proving quite fun.

A little bit about my roleplay style, just so everyone is sure of what I do. I am not afraid to roleplay with a mature template, meaning sex and violence are completely fine. I will take other people’s preferences into account IF they PM me prior to roleplay stating that they are uncomfortable with descriptive scenes. I’m not that heartless that I would deliberately ignore someone’s wishes and make them completely uncomfortable. Of course, if you do not PM me with your request I will assume you are as okay with mature content as I am and will not complain if I make some really gorey description.

This scrapbook I plan on making a joint one between my characters, which includes any future ones I my bring into creation. If I ever become a Storyteller, the same will apply but I may create a new one just for the Storyteller to lead with my Alternates tacked on.

Here I will very rarely ever post about my personal life. I may give out some information, as I will do later on, but if someone really wants to get to know me then they will PM me and we can become buds. This location is ALL for my characters, or at least primarily. Their goals, aspirations, muses, likenesses, desires… all are here.

Oh, by the way… I plan on making Loki one of the Chaon, and so if you people don’t like your characters getting hurt or Cursed, then I advise you don’t play with me and take your nonsense elsewhere. I want this all to be as real as possible, and in the REAL WORLD violence is even more common than peace, which I admit is sad but true.

Thank you all for reading~ I look forward to playing with a few of you and hopefully making friends to write with me!

Turns out, the email I used wasn't mine. Guess that explains why I couldn't log on to it when I made the accounts. I FAIL. xP If the person who let me know my mistake has joined the site and is reading this, you have my sincerest apologies! I put down a new email until I get a chance to create a different one because I honestly can't remember my actual email address. I didn't mean to make that particular mistake, and I am indeed very glad! Thank you for being so considerate and kind about it.

I decided to post this as Riley so I have a link to her threads in her threadlist now if I ever get around to posting it anywhere else. Maybe I'll do something odd and post a link to this scrapbook in the scrapbook!

An evil plan is forming!

Anyway, I have finally made my decision as to where to place Riley (finally!). Not Denval as I had originally decided (I was also looking at Lhavit and the Suvan somewhere). I hope to make buds in Avanthal, Riley's new city of choice! I don't plan to change from there again, because I'd have to edit my CS all over and delete my posts which is exhausting!

So, g'night for all, dears! Weird Science is on and I love the Brat Pack!
AHAHAHAHA!

Lol. I like this PSYC joke my teacher dropped on us in class today.

It went, 'René Descartes and his friends were in a bar having drinks. René's friends said "Who thinks René should buy our next round?" René said "I think not!" and disappeared.'

Now, a little anout me~

Name: Alice (No, Mr Kirk, they don't have last names on my planet)
Sex: Female
Age, Birthdate: 4, Febuary 29th, 1992 (No, I'm serious. I turn 5 in 2012, that's why the world will end.)
Race: I'm a Lhavitian Symenestra (In other words, I'm half Japanese and half Russian.)
Likes and Dislikes (Preferances): Likes- Lolita, particularly 'gothic', faeries, Shinto 'Lore', Psychology (Descartes WIN), Grand Theft Auto 4, artsy stuffz, Biology, Chemistry, the "nature" of dreams and what they can tell us, making friends, neon colors, Canadian stuff, Tim Hortons (An American commodity that Canadians just so happen to love?), school (pronounced like "shoooool"), Slytherin (even when I knew how it would end, I stuck with them from Book One to Seven in an admirable fashion but I developed an infatuation with George Weasley {I know the difference between he and Fred} around Book and Movie 3), Loki (TEAM LOKI!), etc, etc.

Dislikes- Anything to do with the "good" guys winning. Seriously. I'm all for the bad team.

SPIDER PRIDE! >8< (I love how Macabre came up with this {I think}. I keep seeing it!!!)

History: It's unwritten so far. I'm four years old. What can I say?
Psychology: Yes. I mean... I'm pretty interesting, I suppose. I'm Japanese and Russian, so if you're all about racial things than I'm pretty awesome. Personality-wise, I laugh alot. Considerably. I can have fun doing the most mundane things, and I'm a... petching hyena when it comes to carnivals.

One day, I shall draw a chibi that will put Macabre's to shame. Until then, I bid you, adieu!

Omg. I have such a crush on Loki that I don't even know what to do any more. Like, before watching Thor when it was still at the Galaxy, I was into the Norse God of Mischief because of his (to use a Cachet word) sheer 'badassry'. I'm in love with this man... Er, God. He is AMAZING. A little on the nutter side, but in all honesty... Who isn't?

Tssaaloki here I had planned to make represent what I just love the most about Loki (he is, after all, her namesake), but my Loki has started to represent the darker, more crueller aspects that Loki himself just hasn't yet gotten involved in.

And so, that is why I will be giving birth to a new character

Her name shall be, until I decide otherwise, Redbird!

A little bit about Redbird and her Lore:

Redbird is a real myth. She is part of a Cherokee legend that states she is the daughter of the Sun (I'm quoting what I've read mixed with what I've gotten from real Cherokee Indians [Don't give me any guff about political correctness or what have you. They call themselves Indians, brown folk, Niche, etc. It's all in perspective, and I'm not gonna label them a word that either states them as "non" original or belonging to a particular country. In all honesty, the country belongs to them. Canada's last immigrants my ass.]).

Redbird was killed by Raven (I've also heard Wolf and even just plain old Trickster), and the Sun mourned for Her daughter. So, thinking it would please Sun, Redbird's killer revived Redbird and placed her in a box so he could surprise Sun next time She rose. Well, he left one corner of the box' lid off and Redbird escaped, ruining his plans and becoming free in the world.

I wish my Redbird to be a mix between the Redbird of legend and the mischevious cuteness that is that sexy beast Loki. I personally applaud Tom for a fantastic performance as Loki (I love the scene where he and Thor tease eachother [Loki: Ooh, nice feathers. Thor: You don't really want to start this again, do you, cow? Loki: I was being sincere. Thor: You are incapable of being sincere!])

I seem to love parentheses too.

WOOOH! Parenthesis!

Actually we don't call ourselves Indians. We call ourselves Native Americans. I wonder if Idiots call themselves Idiots or just socially impaired. Either way, you are seriously coming off as one in this thread.

Dancing Across Your Soul

<< Not all do. Some find negative connotations in being referred to as Native Americans, and some non-"Aboriginals" take offense at not being deemed Natives at all.

I can accept being called an idiot, or socially impaired, or what have you, but since it seems that I have offended you I have the brains to apologize. I am sorry I did so, but I didn't mean to offend.

Anyway, it's my scrapbook thread and if I come off as one, then so be it. It's just how I am, and if that's a problem then I can be sorry for that as well. Although, I see little reason to change myself just for one complaint. Of course, I'll take your opinion in consideration and perhaps shut my trap for the time being before I dig myself a deeper grave.

Before I go, let me impart this. As I said, what "Natives", "American Indians", "Aboriginals", and etc decide to call themselves is their own choice. I refer to them either as their First Nations when we speak together, or some other title they would prefer. Some take offense at being called anything other than First Nations, Metis, or Inuit, but I don't know what the political debate is over that beyond the Canadian border. "Indian" is what I grew up saying, but if you"d prefer me to call them anything else, then I'll stick with First Nations, because that's what they are.

Also, "Indian", I was told, meant "in God", or came from the words "En Deos" or something of the like. Because, when Columbus decided he was in India, the peoples of India were not generally referred to as Indians at that time.

But that was what I was told, so don't get mad at me over it.

Once again, sorry if I insulted you, and thank you for being the first other person to reply to my Scrapbook.

Dancing Across Your Soul

Postby Noelle on September 16th, 2011, 6:53 am

Continuation on earlier after this brief service announcement:

Noelle here has been created.

And now!:

I have a preference for being called 'socially impaired', that way my label can not be used to negatively affect someone else. Socially impaired kind of says it all, because it is a state of mind that can be changed.

Now, "idiots" and the such, including "retards", are people who can't change their own mental capacities. An "idiot" has a lower IQ than a "retard", and while it may be an insult to call a person an "idiot", it most certainly is an insult to one labelled an "idiot" to have a comparison made to them. What if idiots are not socially impaired, unlike me? You'd have insulted an "idiot", even if they may or may not know they have been insulted.

Here's an example of insulting a person with a comparison of sorts.

"At least it's not as gay as Twilight."

The problem, and I'm sorry Twihards, is calling Twilight gay in the first place. Quite a few gay people don't like Twilight at all, and find Edward Cullen an over-emotional girl (which insults girls, btw), and comparing gay peoples or even labelling something like Twilight as gay, when so many people speak out against it, is just plain wrong. It's demeaning to homosexual peoples, just as calling me an idiot is demeaning to people with particularly low IQ.

So, call me socially impaired. Leave "Idiots" out of this, because they don't deserve to be demeaned by comparing them with me. And please, Twilight is not gay. For the record, Twilight just sucks. Plain and simple. Well, in my perspective. The third and fourth book killed it for me, and I believe in Team Jasper.

Thank you, and good night~
