The Forgotten Tower Physical Location: Deep in the woods toward the northern tip of Mura. See Image below. The surface: It appears to be a half constructed wooden tower of some kind with a dilapidated house nearby. The tower resembles a watchtower of some kind made of wood that hasn’t been painted or anything, just left to the suns mercy. Because of the exposure with the sun the wood has been dyed grey. As you approach the tower about 60 feet away there are a few trees that seem to be missing every now and then; and it only gets worse on the approach to the tower. Its height sits at healthy 30 or so feet and has a wooden ladder that leads to a platform that seems hastily built at the top. The structural integrity seems study, but only in some places; there are portions that have somewhat extensive mold and degradation that only comes with time and weather. It was obviously built by someone who had some intricate understanding of carpentry; as it has seemed to hold up a good amount of time without any kind of management at all. The timber came from the surrounding trees and forest, but there are no signs that anyone lives here now; or plans to continue the building process. The dilapidated house seems to be built in haste but with some care taken as there aren’t a whole lot of corners cut in its construction. It has only about a hundred square feet inside and has no furniture in it. The only hint of anything resembling furniture is a fire pit in the middle of the floor and some tattered rough cloth that seems to form a rough bed on the floor. The house seems to be in the same condition as the tower but a little worse, meaning it was likely built at the same time if not before the tower was constructed. |
