The girl followed silently as the figure slipped past walls. She scarcely bothered to breath as her eyes narrowed, scrutinizing the flickering lights of auras. Her feet tread carefully as she glided along, slinking into shadows as the other found pools of light. Turning finally, it would seem, to try and find her. As though he had heard. Her heart stopped as he twisted again. Resumed. It was not the nuit. The face was too pure. Unblemished. The huntress had made a mistake. Frustrated with herself, she turned back, her magic scouting as she tread a little faster. Her heart hammering in her chest as her fist tightened around the supple curve of her father's old bow. Her thumb danced over it as she glided along. Searching. Constantly searching until the light rose high in the sky, and the huntress whispered. "I am sorry Lady Dira, it seems I have failed you." A chill shot up the length of Aello's spine. "I am not worthy..."
