Your Workspace

So an idea hit me this morning when I got to my desk. A workspace can say a lot about an individual, what you like and what you are like. So I figured I would post the following challenge to all of you.

What does your workspace look like? Like when you are typing up Mizahar related stuff what are you sitting at? Where is your creative environment?

I figured I would also attach a picture of mine. But here it goes.

Yeah I have two screens, and believe it or not it is very productive. I find that I can have chat up in one screen and be doing actual productive Miz work in the other.

Technical specs for all you geeks out thereLeft screen is wide panel 24 inches right panel is widescreen 20 inches. Now as far as my desktop specs go....it's impressive. 6 core AMD 3.7GHz, 8 gigs ram, 4 Hard drives with a total of 4.5TB (4500 gigs) of space. 3 optical CD/DVD burners. So there you go.

The desk is cherry my wife and I found it at a refurnished furniture shop for like 200$ which was a deal for us. I have random tech stuff shoved in the little above desk storage thing and well that is everything from lightscribe DVD's to a lighter...I'm about as random as they come. The random blue light thing on the far right corner is a joystick and the red glowing thing below the desk is my computer. So here is my workspace what about yours?

This is my husband's desk that he is nice enough to lend to me. Um, yea it's not pretty, but at least you know it's not staged? *averts gaze* My teeny chair and cup and notes.

Next, my computer that needs repairing with the me sized desk. sigh. I miss her me sizedness. Look at his big ugly chair.

Lisa...You crack me the hell up. For some reason, I am completely not surprised at your desktop. I couldn't tell you why I'm not surprised, but it did make me smile.

Cachet... I am completely envious. You will see why below. I've ALWAYS wanted a wrap around desk like that, but my houses have always been too small. I, too, have two screens. However, I recently moved and am stuck with only the bare minimum.

So... That's my space. Other than the bed, I am a complete neat freak, on the verge of OCD. Things have to be lined up and in the perfect order. Cups go on coasters etc. I usually even have to set up my laptop space on the coffee table like you would set your place at the kitchen table. I put my drink on my left and utensils on the right (even though I'm left handed), hence the remote where it is.

I'm crazy. I admit it.

I like this idea. Made me think of an article I read somewhere with different personality types based on how your desk looks like.

Jules, I really like your organized and neat work space! Wish I could do such a thing. Mine always ends up chaotic two or three days after I tidied it up. And I adore your Pokémon!

Okay, here's mine. It's especially chaotic because I'm going to move in four days and little stuff I don't want to forget is lying around. As a side note, I just love my pin board! It's filled with little quotes from friends and fellow hobby writers, famous writers I admire, Japanese characters and a poem I find amazing.

I will post a picture of my current workspace... Its actually my wife's computer hooked up to our 42 inch TV in our living room... Heh, I love the clutter..

You'll see what I am talking about it... I will post it as soon as I get it sent... >.<

My actually computer blew up... So I can't show ya'll my real workspace...

I love this idea! This is the desk I got for my sixteenth birthday and I also got the desktop as well. The desktop has a new flat screen and not the GIGANTIC one that came with it eight years ago.

This is really how my desk looks at any given moment. I'm not a big fan of clutter on my desk but I do like to have some things on it as well. I've had my laptop for almost four years. Look at my tiger mouse pad! I LOVE IT!!! The picture is of me and my boyfriend.
