Thanks Jen, I really appreciate the thought. You're too kind.
Lisa... beautiful. Those a perfect, and I'm sure Libby and Kano are ripping and tearing up in doggy heaven somewhere.
Julie, trust me, I cried.
EVERYONE~~
I couldn't get out of getting my pet rent/deposit back. I felt completely empty looking at her crate every day, and seeing her toys. I kept wanting to take her for a walk and feed her and water her... But she wasn't there. Now, I'm one of those guys that can't cope. I just felt wrong...
So I made an adoption today.
Rory and I (for anyone who hasn't heard the Rory story, please consult Jen, as she so wisely pushed me in the right direction to woo the girl who doctored my bloody nose) went to the local shelter and I spotted and fell in love almost immediately with the most precious Rottie... She's 6 years old, and her name is Sugar. Though I don't like the name Sugar for a dog, she really is a big ol' sugar bear. Haha, she's calm, and quiet, and looooves to snuggle. She's perfect. Really. I love her already.
We happened to be dropping off some toys for Toys for Tots anyway, and with a single toy, the adoption price for a dog is only $40 instead of the regular $115. It was like a sign. I don't know.
So now at my feet is my new friend, Sugar. She's so sweet... Ugh. I can't stop talking about her! And Rory just thought she was precious too. I know that Kano can never be replaced, but she's in a fantastic place now.
