Name: Sa'Flora (often goes by Flora) Race: Konti Birthday & Age: 492 AV; 20 years old Gender: Female Physical Description: Sa'Flora, with her light blue eyes and pale, fair skin, stands at about five-foot-three, making her shorter than most. She is thin, like most of her Konti sisters, and is often seen wearing white or ivory clothing. She has a skinny, pointed nose and round rosy lips. Her hair is pale-blonde, and reaches right below her shoulders to her middle back. She has gills running down the side of her elongated neck, like other Konti, and silvery-white scales running along the sides of her entire body, and her Seer's Lily is on the outside of her right thigh. Although Flora is almost in her early twenties, she's often thought of as younger than she is, for she possesses a quality of timeless youth. Flora often looks dazed or spaced out, due to the fact that she is often day dreaming, or focusing heavily on something. Flora is not languid in demeanor, as are some of her Sisters. She is an awkward girl, completely uncomfortable in her own body. She often trips and falls over things, not being balanced or nimble; she is only these things in her dreams. Character Concept Sa'Flora sees herself as small. She feels as if the world is often too large for her to handle, too out of control. She feels like everyone overpowers her, like she isn't strong enough to handle her responsibilities, and often breaks down because of this. She wishes to grow stronger as a person, to grow and be able to handle the world, and to venture out of her homeland of Mura. Flora often seems as if she is in her own world, one outside of reality. She often drifts in and out of daydreams in the middle of conversations with others, and it is noticeable by the blank stare that suddenly comes across her face. She often falls asleep at random times, not even realizing that it is happening. She is a quiet girl, not keen to making friends. She prefers to keep her thoughts and opinions to herself, and doesn't like confrontation. She enjoys art and music, like other Konti, and loves different forms of fashion. Clothing, she feels, is how people express themselves on the outside, and she will often dress according to her feelings (most of the time it is either very light colors, or very dark). She loves to sit by the seaside, smelling the smell that it brings; she loves to visit the Silverwood located outside of Mura and walk among the wildlife. Her Gift Flora's gift is the ability to see the saddest moment in someone's life whenever she touches them, and it could just as easily be considered a curse. Whenever Flora makes physical contact with someone, she has a vision showing her the exact scene of whatever the person considers to be the saddest and most terrible moment in their lifetime. It is sometimes very hard on Flora because some of the visions are quite emotionally taxing. She sees exactly what the person she is touching saw, and often feels the emotions that they felt at the time. It only takes her a moment to see the full vision; the scene might be an hour long in her mind, but it only takes her a second or two to perceive it all. Because of her gift, she prefers not to come into physical contact with others because the flashes of visions are difficult on her. Character History Sa'Flora was born to a normal Konti mother living alone. Flora has never met her father; she only knows that he was a human. Her mother is a weaver, often making, repairing, and selling clothing to the other residents of Mura, and also to tourists. Flora's life has always been quiet and easy. Her mother frequently took Flora out to the seaside and Silverwood when she was little to teach her of nature, and about Avalis and Laviku and how they, as Konti, were their daughters. Flora didn't have many friends growing up, feeling isolated and different from the other children, even though they showed her kindness. She spent much of her time as a child in The Starry Night, wandering through the garden pathways. She learned to play the Lyre as a child, being quite gifted at it. She also learned to write dynamic poetry, often sharing her works with others at The Starry Night. Flora's life has always been plain, and she is happy for that. She is glad that she has always had an easy going life, and doesn't wish for it to change. (more history coming soon...)
