Jischa's wandering of the Golden Stallion would not go unnoticed by a majority of the population there. In fact, there seemed to be a very large amount of attention irresponsibly tossed at her with devouring gazes and hushed whispers. She was exactly what so many people wanted, but there was just one thing she was missing, at least as far as the customers were concerned. She didn't work here. What a shame.

Jischa did manage to get even more attention than just the sexual attraction of dozens of men in the area. Jischa was a customer at that moment, yet being one of his customers, he had to make sure her needs were met. Tyras stepped out from gods-know-where as he approached Jischa. A beautiful smile on face glowed like the radiance of Syna's sun. It wasn't hard to tell that Tyras had the effect on many women that Jischa had on a good deal of the men here on that day. Perhaps Tyras was a little older, but he was still far from losing the beauty of youth, in fact it almost seemed to add a level of adorableness. "Can I help you with something Miss? You've been wandering the Dragon for a while I've heard."

[Syliras Location] The Golden Dragon

So lost in mischievous thought was Jischa that the appearance of Tyras' smiling visage caught her by surprise momentarily, her blue eyes flashing warily. The alarm left her features almost as quickly as it'd appeared however, and she toyed with the stem of her glass as she regarded the Golden Dragon's proprieter. She'd seen him around of course, heard the wistful sighs and furtive giggles of customers and employees alike when his name was mentioned.

ImageShe returned his smile, face gently tilted upward to regard him as he spoke. She was of a small stature it was true, but rather than be defensive about it she embraced the perks it afforded, namely the advantage of an unimposing stature. "Oh, you heard, did you?" At this her curiosity was piqued, being gossiped about was always fun, and in a place with such uninhibited people doing the gossiping, she could only wonder what'd been said about herself. "I've been restless," she continues, glancing around the Inn with a smile. "Thankfully there's plenty here to distract myself with, I hope I haven't been a bother to anyone?"

The idea of some indignant traveler's wife complaining to management about her friendly overtures brought mixed feelings, neither of them dismay. After all, she reasoned silently. If anyone isn't supposed to be looking, they're in the wrong place.

Tyras continued to smile. His lips curled in the ever welcoming grooved shaped. He nodded lightly. Tyras wasn't one to melt in the hands of women at the mere talk or seductive nature of them. He owned the Golden Dragon after all; he had seen about everything women could tease with. Regardless, he played along and offered a slow steady nod to her question. "Yes, I have heard. It's a shame that such natural beauty be restless. Here, have a seat." Tyras placed a gentle hand on Jischa's shoulder and guided her towards one of the cushioned couches nearby that had coincidentally remained empty. Kalvintal himself chose to sit down.

"So I am Tyras Kalvintal. I work in and own the Golden Dragon. Many women are not so fond of the Dragon's presence here in Syliras, for probably obvious reasons. The men tend to look at it differently." Tyras lifted a hand to his head and began to play with his hair absentmindedly as a smile forced its way into existence again. "You seem to be fine with it though. What is it that keeps you here Miss?" Tyras's gaze moved to lock onto Jischa's eyes once he asked the question, a simple question of 'why are you here'. They had the means to help many needs most people had.

Taking a seat on the indicated couch, Jischa angled herself to better face Tyras once he too sat, the same friendly smile playing over her lips. He didn't seem especially impressed by her charm, a curious phenomena for the Konti healer but refreshing as well. Changing tact, she toyed with a lock of her hair thoughtfully as Tyras spoke, her words carefully measured once she gave her response.

"I'm not from Syliras," she offered at the start, a statement that for some would be seen as a matter of fact. "The Golden Dragon reminds me most of my favorite parts of my city; the patrons here, my favorite visitors to the island. It's comfortable, and consequently, more fun." She lifts a hand, idly gesturing toward the people milling about the lower floor of the inn. "They're looking for some variation of fun here, too. It suits." ImageHere she pauses, looking up at Kalvintal with a calculating expression, the grin quirking her lips bordering on laughter. "It pays as well, so I've heard."

OOCSorry for taking so long to get this. I'm busy as hell.

Tyras's lips remained frozen in a joyous smiling state. Jischa was a good looking woman, and had personality. She was bold, another quality that could get her to fit in rather easily. "The Golden Dragon is the symbol of happiness for many people that pass through here. I think you would fit in perfectly, the girls would show you the ropes, though I have a feeling you'd find your own unique ways to impress everyone." Tyras followed her hand as if it revealed the people of the Golden Dragon to him, a slight nod followed. "It pays well if you are popular."

Tyras didn't even need to say that Jischa was already popular here. She saw the gazes, the lustful stares, her Konti Beauty was captivating to the point where even she couldn't ignore the effects on them. "Do you understand what you would be doing here? You'd be serving the men, and the occasional woman, in nearly any way they ask. Of course, you don't have to do something you really don't want, but I'm certain you'd earn little in return. Drinks, food, company, the last is the most common." Tyras looked back at Jischa after he spoke, his voice trailing off slowly, waiting now to hear whether or not she truly would take the job offer.

OOCNo worries, this is a pretty busy time of the year for everyone.

Jischa nodded readily as Tyras listed the duties and benefits of being a Companion at the Golden Dragon Inn. Barely suppressing laughter, she twisted his words in her head, imagining patrons of the inn demanding she stand on her head and sing, or perform feats of magic for their entertainment. Her laughter died abruptly as he mentioned being able to deny any requests she deemed too arduous, her expression taking on a less playful and more businesslike air.

"Yes, I understand," she agreed, her head tilting to one side thoughtfully. "And it'll keep me in wine without putting me in debt, which is a definite bonus." Her smile returns, a glint of mischief in her eye as she Imagecontinues. "Will I be moving into another room, now? And am I expected to take patrons every single night, or is there a base wage for entertaining in general? I can serve meals and drinks on the lower level if required, though it pains me to say I am..not what anyone would call a talented cook."

Thoughts of silk dresses and exotic foods had her quite certain that this was the job for her, a place to flaunt her talents and make use of her Gift made it even more enticing. She looked to Tyras expectantly, the word 'Yes!' floating on her lips should everything be answered to her satisfaction and understanding, her mind already moving toward a revealing costume and the cherished gold bracelet she'd be wearing soon enough.

Tyras's serious demeanor slowly shifted into a peaceful smile again. Jischa was a charming girl, she would do well. "I'll arrange a room for you immediately. It isn't much, but you can sleep there, take care of any special guests there. You aren't required to work daily, I'm no slave driver. I care for my girls like they are family. If they are kind and respectful, they will be taken care of and respected in return. Your pay will be based more on your serving patrons than a daily wage. Any additional money you acquire is yours entirely. Money for food, drinks, and general company is divided." Tyras smiled again as Jischa claimed her inability to cook. That's how many of the girls were before they came. "Before", however, is the key word. There was always opportunity to learn, and it always helped to get a little more money in their pockets. "You'll learn in time. There is always much to learn. If you are still pleased with all this, then come, I'll show you to your room and hand over a few other things you'll need."

Tyras stood from the couch and offered his hand to help Jischa up herself. What a gentleman. Afterwards, he would lead her through the Golden Dragon to a fairly small, yet brightly colored and erotically decorated room, a mirror image of dozens of others there. "This is yours, the bed is very comfortable, large, takes up a large portion of the room, but you won't use this room for much more than sleeping." Tyras smiled again, the keywords in that phrase was probably "much more". Patrons would expect private sessions and entertainment, but the girls good enough to get revisiting costumers were quickly rewarded for it.

Tyras produced the bracelet Jischa had been hungering for. His hand held palm up, allowing the golding ring to rest until she took. Taking the jewelry would be her official acceptance of the job.

[Syliras Location] The Golden Dragon

Jischa nodded along as Tyras explained the way her pay worked, everything sounding pretty close to what she'd imagined. Rising gracefully with his aid, she followed him along to the lavishly decorated bedroom. The size of the room was a bit worrisome, how was she expected to dance with such a small amount of floorspace? Her cheeks colored lightly as Tyras went on to explain the purpose of the room, but she nodded again quickly, turning back toward the door and where he stood.Image

Noticing the bracelet in his hand, all doubt left her mind and she reached out to pluck the ring of gold from his palm, twirling it in her fingers. Wondering idly if he always carried them around or if he'd known where this conversation would wind up even as he'd run into her, she slipped the bracelet on with a warm smile. "Kind and respectful, that shouldn't be too hard, I suppose," she sighs with a mischievous smile, clearly exaggerating the arduousness of the task.

"Thank you Tyras," she added, turning to regard the vibrsantly colored room. "I think I'll enjoy this more than you know, I appreciate the opportunity." A means, finally, of remaining away from the island. Of remaining here in Syliras, for the time being at least.

OOCDefinitely accepted, thanks for threading with me!

[Syliras Location] The Golden Dragon

Postby Ever on May 20th, 2011, 11:01 pm

TimeStamp : 85th of Spring 511 A.V.

Ever passed through the large double doors that lead into the grand depths of the Golden Dragon. Inside she saw many women walking about, as well as men, though it was obvious who worked here and who didn't. She had heard about this place everywhere on the streets of Syliras. Men talked incessantly about it, and Ever finally came to the conclusion this was a very active and popular place. A place where she could earn some extra money.

She could do just about anything any man could want, so that area of the job shouldn't be so complicated, the cleaning too, but the cooking was not an area that she was very skilled in. She was more likely to burn water than to boil it. But, who knows, maybe she could learn a thing or two from in here.

She walked confidently across the room, stopping at it's center to stand on a large bear skin. She tried to avoid looking at it's face, feeling uncomfortable that she was standing on the skin of a once living creature. She looked around trying to find the owner of the place, feeling a bit lost.

Ever wasn't much of someone to be ignored, especially in a place like this where wouldn't couldn't be ignored. She was young, firm healthy breasts, charming and warming lips. Her skin was soft, bright, healthy, and she even had this sway to her step as she moved. Except, she was in fact in the Golden Dragon. Where she would draw attention from every man above the age of twelve with ease, here she got the attention of other ladies and a few employees. Some customers of the place would look her over, but something kept them from studying her like the staff. She wasn't a worker here, thus nobody teased themselves with the idea engaging her. She didn't have, what she already noticed, a golden bracelet that symbolized every girl that worked here. The staff, however, saw her with intrigue. Woman weren't particularly common customers, which made little use for male entertainers, and the way she looked around told that she didn't want anything, but something in particular.

Tyras Kalvintal was typically the one sought out in these moments. He watched her for several moments from a seat on a cushion, sharing a bottle of expensive and potent wine with someone willing to pay and indulge their ears with his voice, then he pardoned himself after filling the glass and walking over to greet this young beautiful specimen. "You look a little lost. Can I be of assistance? I am Tyras, I am the owner of the Golden Dragon and, when I must, an enforcer of the law. Come, have a seat with me." Kalvin handed the glass of wine to Ever as he moved across the room, led her upstairs, and into their own private room.

"I've been in the business for a long time. I've come to recognize the hunger for sex, the hunger for food, the hunger for work, and the hunger for indulging curiosity." Tyras gave Ever a gentle smile as he sat down on the bed, patting the space next to him to offer her a seat. He had, obviously, no problem being close to people. That was something probably earned from working in a place where groping hands and wandering eyes were more common than their absences.
