[Riverfall OOC] Where Gods Abide

Greetings folks!

Every day I'm planning on doing some tweeks to Riverfall. Today's changes are a custom banner for the entire forum and a Character Registry. Please post in the registry if you are here in Riverfall and most importantly let me know if you are a perm resident or just transient. We'll be able to get some rp hookups going if we get a list of who's actually here and active!

If someone wants something added IMMEDIATELY let me know. I'll boost it up on the priority list. Also, I'm currently writing a Players Guide for Riverfall. If you'd like something included on that, please drop a note here!

Hi Folks.

As you may have noticed, our Suggestion Box is in place stickied in this forum. Feel free to use it. I'm almost done with the city map, and that means RF is getting some big renovations. There will be some name changes, and some locations moved. The new map will be as of 512 rather than as of Winter 511 though I'll be posting it early. Along with that, I'll have an events calendar posted.

I wanted to know if anyone was doing the Winter Challenge of the A-Z blue things listed in thread? Let me know if you are. I wanted a headcount of participation. Also, does anyone need anything included on the map that's not already listed in the link map - a location they've used in their own thread - or perhaps one they've been wanting? Let me know.

Also, I'd like to find an AS because unfortunately in my leaving WR for a time and coming here, I've left Phoenix with no one that can grade HER threads in WR and since I have a PC here that is in a lot of threads, I can't grade Mine either. We can do some cross grading, but we'd love to have a 'floating' AS that will help with needs in both locations.

Let me know if anyone is interested. I hope you guys like the map and the accompanying Players Guide that will go with it.

I don't think I have been on long enough to actually be an AS, but I would love to try. I am a still very bad writer and I don't think it would be fare to let me do moderated threads, but reading and grading threads is something I would be able to do easily.

Tahl, you have to be here two months and have a firm grasp of all the things an AS needs to do including moderating.

Give it time then you can volunteer later if you are still interested. Also, remember I'm not that sharp of a tack so if you post up something for me to moderate, make sure you let me know you need moderation and send me a link!

Welcome Levakys.

Just so you are aware, white hair is only present in Akontak PCs. Akalaks have dark hair tones. I understand the difficulty of avatar altering though, but I wanted to remind new folks of this.

Also, another reminder. Lakan are usually under 12 inches and fall under a dagger style weapon. They are made by the Akalak and often given away to people that have helped them or that they owe their life too. Once they give theirs away, they will forge another. It is a sign of honor if you carry another's Lakan in Riverfall regardless of race, age etc. Lakan aren't long wicked weapons that resemble short swords or longswords.. or heaven forbid Klingon weapons

Thanks, I was curious about Lakan specifics as well. **later edit* I just found a few pics that could be a good visual aid for a Lakan. What do you think Goss?
