Greetings once more, lovelies. I'd like to take a moment to point out some semi-obvious changes to the forum and draw attention to specific parts.
First thing on my agenda would be the Character Registry for Summer 512 A.V.. Within the thread, there's a little questionaire to introduce yourself (again! yeah intros) to Zinrah and its player staff. It's a wonderful opportunity to share a bit about your writing expectations and experiences. ertain sections, such as what you'd like to see moderated, also give me a big hint as to what you'd like to see more around Zinrah...and from there I see what I can do to bring it upon us. Please take a good 5-10 minutes to give as much info as you can. The more the better, especially on a site like Mizahar where the "story is king." (Quoting Rage quoting Tarot...so quoting Tarot there... but isn't it so true?!).
Secondly, we have this beautiful Calendar and Events link right here. So, in case you're wondering what's going on outside your own story, here you go! Zinrah's a small place, so please explore these thread ideas, starting by word of mouth from NPCs or otherwise. If you'd like my personal twist on a scenario, drop a request in my office.
I want to highlight the date marked off by *these babies*. It's a seasonal ritual to Siku full of plenty dark elements attributed to Zinrah in a way to unify the nest. As you surey recall from the Wiki, all of Zinrah should be there unless you have guard duty or are trapped outside the nest. It needs to be a darn good reason! I'll be coordinating with the fellow Falyndar staff to plot this sucker out when we get the chance. It's a wonderful sort of thread to immerse yourself in, especially to receive a nice culture shock of what Zinrah is all about (when it comes to Siku and the Dhani race's adoration of her).
last, but certainly not least, there is a link map in the works! It's stickied at the top of our forum; you can hunt for this one. Take th note into consideration as some actual locations are seeming WIPs. Anything in the wiki is a free for all for you to use with the exception of... The Queen's Lair and The Gathering of the Queens by the locations' sheer natures. Moderation is required, but there are still some areas to keep you occupied in the interim.
What I need from YOU:
Yes, dearest babies, I like to see some feedback from you too. I'm still looking at the idea of a suggestion thread with a crooked stare... Maybe we can benefit from a thread to bounce ideas off of me, and then for me to bounce them off Cayenne and Rage to see what they think? Zinrah's population in particular is what makes me wary, especially if NPCs start shooting up from the earth.
I think a big thing you are looking for are locations. I know I'm scanning through link maps when I visit a city, and look for "what fits my PC's interests the most." We could discuss the info in OOC, but anal rententive tendencies tell me to make a new thread anyway...
Is this something we like or not? If I say hands in the air for players wants to see an opportunity to develop or propose ideas to the city, I expect top quality submissions. It doesn't help to have the thread sitting there with my lone post. I can work on things on my own as necessary (all the more to scare your pants off that way). I can provide, as necessary, a guide or skeleton for formatting such propositions. NPCs especially I'd like to see formatted for the wiki and fully fleshed out with histories, personalities, descriptions, etc. like its a PC in its own right. As for skills, leave those to me. You might suggest what skills a NPC might have, but let me handle numbers. Your approval to use, copy, paste, altar submissions is also appreciated with each suggestion and you will be credited. Spires has a nice thing going, but I want to make sure we really look into these things and be sure they fit into Zinrah (not like there isn't room or anything...).

If you're still looking around wondering what to do, you're going at it the right way. I am working as fast as I can to develop and provide you with the tools needed to fulfill your goals, but the fact is YOU are the story teller of your own PCs; YOU make this site what it is when it comes to personal experience. I'd love to be a part of that if you'd have me though. ♥
Alright, before I babble any further, be sure to keep in contact with me. PMs are always an option, or my office. With PMs, please include Cayenne in on the discussion, and Rage too if it pertains to the Jungle Wilds (though this is Zinrah's OOC... but that's a just in case thing).
I do believe that is everything for now... Take advantage of what's there already.
P.S. Is this shade of purple hard to read for anyone? I hate when some color schemes just don't work, and am willing to be flexible on this especially. Let me know! (We're going to look like Barney with all the green and purple going around. (I mean the dinosaur part; dinosaurs are awesome.) |

Regarding stuff to PM and discuss, feel free to drop some PMs about location ideas... Not to say they will be pursued, but I'm wondering what you guys are looking to see a bit more of in Zinrah, while staying true to its atmosphere and such. Remember to tag our veterans Cayenne and Rage too!
