H i s t o r y & C o n c e p t
Palla was born in the region of Kalea to two Kelvic parents. At approximately a year old, she left her the comfort of her parents’ protection and ventured out on her own. She had led a rather un-extraordinary life up until she left. Driven by her animalistic nature, senses, and ambitions, she lived primarily to serve herself. She fed herself, entertained herself, took care of herself. It was not until she had reached nearly two and a half years of age that she had an accidental run in with a pair of travelers. Frightened by the humans, she ran and skittered her way up a nearby tree, and listened to their tales and stories. Curiously, she observed their talents as they cooked a meal, picked plants, spoke of gambling, and glassblowing, and a whole plethora of things. It was after sleeping on it for a while that she finally decided that she was indeed fascinated by the many things that appeared to be out in the world. How exciting! She didn’t have to live her life eating and sleeping every day! She could do something… but what? And how? Yes, more specifically, how? To be truthful, she was scared. Though the pair of travelers had no interest in tracking her for her pelt, she had still run and hid, hadn’t she? The more she listened, the more interested she became. They spoke of Gods and Goddesses, arts, battle tactics, family. The topics were beyond her intellectual grasp, but something about her curious nature urged her to find something she enjoyed doing besides chasing bugs.
Palla, though intrigued by the strange words and things that the two-leggeds spoke of, was frightened to pursue her curiosity. She meandered around the city of Alvadas. When at last she swallowed her fear, she entered the giant city. Here, she met a half-blood named Seven that showed her compassion. He seemed just as curious about her as she was about him. Upon their meeting and brief conversation about two-leggeds, he agreed to help her and teach her some things about them. A bond sprouted between them, and she obeyed the pull to be with him always. Victor, a human man, was the second of the two-legged that she met. He perplexed her, and put her on edge with his seemingly always changing moods. Though she couldn't put a finger on exactly she felt towards him, she pinned it in the back of her mind to like him for the sake of her bond with Seven after learning that the two were friends (or something to that nature.) Palla spends her days with Seven, and sometimes Seven and Victor, as he attempts to in a way humanize or tame her into a socially acceptable creature.
