Physical Description
Well built and muscular Lucaius' appearance is that of a man in in his prime.
His hair is a sandy brown color with the slightest bit of silver. He has a few
scars about his face and arms, old battle wounds and rough, calloused
hands. His eyes are a deep shade of blue set by a brow that exposes his
weariness. Despite him being half Drykas he has no wind marks but has a
mark resembling a wind mark on his left palm.
Character Concept
Lucaius is a direct person. He says things the way they are without
question and will not make it easier for someone to hear. However,
that isn't to say he does not have compassion. Lucaius has some pretty
good leadership skills and is more than capable to lead an army however,
is reluctant to do any of that kind unless it severely poses a threat to him
and other people. His cold demeanor is often misleading but he proves to
be considerate and polite and rarely ever insults someone else.
Lucaius' seems to have a little bit of superiority complex but this only
exists because of his age. Generally wise he tends to be a great teacher
however impatient he can become with his students.
Character History
Lucaius' history is not entirely interesting but not
entirely plain either. His parents were somewhat respected.
At least his father was. His mother on the other hand was a Dek
and had somehow found herself together with a Drykan man
doing some traveling in the mountains. And thus Lucaius was illegitimately
born in the Season of Winter, Day 91, 478
There he learned to shoot a bow and arrow and how to appreciate
the sky. Although he most definitely did not fit in, with his mother's
station and having possessed his father's height Lucaius clearly did not
belong with the Inarta. On his 19th birthday he bid his mother goodbye
and set off to find his father. It was exactly 3 years before he
finally tracked him down and his father welcomed him with
open arms and began to teach him the ways of the Drykas. But it could not
last.
One day Lucaius got word from Wind Reach that his mother had died
a few months after he left, in a tragic accident. In despair
he turned to his father only to discover that he really didn't
care anymore and was seeking pleasure with another woman. In a rage
Lucaius fled and enlisted in the army where he served 10 years. During that
time he got a new perspective on life. One he did not wish to embrace.
Kill or be killed. And so he left the army and began to pursue his own vendetta
traveling Mizahar bit by bit and aiding heroes so that their minds aren't
tainted the way his was, and probably still is.
