I just failed my third attempt at the driving test. Fighting a desire to give up now.

Don't give up bro! I failed mine er, 4 times? 5 times? I can't remember how many, but I haven't passed yet, and I'm taking my next one in May. My instructor told me I was just unlucky to get a bunch of asshole testers considering that I was already deemed capable to drive, only unlucky in getting those idiots as testers.

But you know, it'd be a waste to stop now. So keep at it! Best of luck to the both of us for our next attempt!

And yes, best of luck to both of us! It's so tough. I don't want to make it sound like I'm making excuses or belittling drivers in the USA, but my instructor has taught both sides of the pond, and he says the UK test is much tougher because we have much narrower roads and like a billion x more roundabouts than the US does. The test is also a lot more intensive.

You guys should both try the professional drivers exam and try to parallel park a semi-truck which is usually a combined length of 60+ feet and 40,000 lbs in the trailer. Yea. You have to do that.

Just remember, it could always be worse.

lol I'm not sure my driving instructor was awake during my test, but I passed. I also learned to drive in snowy mountainous tarrain, but it had become summer by the time I took my test so I was more than ready.

So my suggestions, Para? Go try to kill yourself on a mountain some time with your permit! Then go see if you can pass the test >> It may seem easier XD

And you know as bleak as it may seem, Jen, what keeps me going most days is what you just said. "It could always be worse." It's horrible, and I'm not sure why it works, but it does. *nods*

Of people questioning and interrogating me on the same issue, as if I am absolutely clueless on it. Do you think I accepted the task for a laugh? Do you think I'm just writing random shit in the hopes it solves the problem? You obviously don't know me. And you also don't know your facts.

As you've all seen in the News Thread, a storm is coming. I'm so glad you all know now, but it's been great fun planning.

More importantly, I have some character resolutions this year. I promise to give my other PC's as much love as I do to Ronan!
