The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Purpose: The Ladies, duh.

The dark sky settled over the enchanting city of Lhavit like a thick velvet blanket. Stars glittered high above, their gleaming lights casting a surreal glow across the sky unlike anything Sterling had ever seen before. Kilo, his Strider, had been placed in the city’s stable for the time being. He hoped that those overseeing it would take good care of his companion; he was his pride and joy, nothing less, and there would be trouble if he wasn’t kept up to Sterling’s standards. One foot in front of the other, he made his way deeper into the city, curious, and yet cautious as to what the city might hold in store for him. It seemed a safe enough place, contrary to the wild Sea of Grass. It was a big change, but one that he welcomed with open arms.

Below, his stomach growled with the anticipation of a meal. Unsure of the currency requirements for the city of Lhavit as well as the whereabouts for a good plate of food, he reached down into his pocket and unwrapped a piece of dried meat. The remainder of his provisions had been left in his saddle bags with Kilo. It seemed it would be too much trouble to wander around with his heavy back leeched onto his shoulders. Best get a good layout of the city before tiring himself out.

Sterling chuckled to himself. Silly, it had slipped his mind up until that very moment. It was the sixty-sixth day of the Fall season! How could he forget?

His twenty-fifth birthday had completely risen with the day, and was nearly past. Surely there was something around the city that he could do to celebrate. Some sort of tavern, perhaps, or…

A scantily clad woman with shimmering skin and horns similar to a ram passed by, giving him a sort of glare. Had he been staring? Most likely. It wasn’t every day that one saw such a paranormal beauty walking past in the street… Hips swaying… Hair tumbling down her back… Lovely violet eyes…

He sighed. Where the petch was he going?

The day was over and now Landon walked the streets in search of something to occupy him for the night. There was never a lack of things to do in Lhavit. If there was not some kind of festivity going on he could always frequent one of the many social locations or even pester his brother in to doing something with him. Of course, Sabastian seemed a bit busy lately. He did not have time to play with his older brother.

As Landon walked, he tried to calm his mind. It was a very feeble attempt to meditate but at least he was trying. He could not focus at all, especially because of the beautiful Ethaefal that was walking past. He smiled at her, winking as he walked. She simply looked away without a second glance to him. Ethaefallen women…

As she walked away, Landon spotted another man who seemed to be looking at her. "They're beautiful, aren't they." Landon smiled after the Ethaefal before walking closer to the man before him. "Ethaefal think they've seen it all before. Every man, every sight, every… everything just because they have lived before." He shrugged as he spoke. "I don't have anything against them. They are truly beautiful works of nature… or the divine… maybe." Shaking his head, he chuckled. "Sorry, I'm rambling on and I haven't introduced myself! I'm Landon." He held out a hand. "What about you tall one?"

A Birthday to Remember [Landon Mora]

Sterling jumped, stirred from his reverie as the dark-headed man approached him. Again, he chanced a glance back at the exotic woman as he listened to the stranger speak. An eyebrow arched high over a steely blue eye. What was this guy babbling about? He chuckled.

”Lived before? Eth… Ethanafala… Efanth… Efth… Whatever.” He grasped the hand stuck out before him firmly. ”Sterling Brody. Are you from the area? I literally just set foot in the place, and I’m already lost.” Sterling looked around, trying to make sense of his new surroundings. The only thing that came to mind – surprise surprise – was women. Where there was one beautiful woman, there was likely to be more, but where? Maybe, just maybe, he could use this new acquaintance to wriggle his way in with the likes of said women.

This Landon character seemed to have his mind in the right place. They are truly beautiful works of nature… or the divine…

Weren’t all women? The pretty ones, at least, for certain.
