Alright, sorry if I sound like a complete n00b.

I read in the wiki that Konti were very useful as slaves, with their gifts and second sight and all. Is there actively Konti slavery? In what areas would that be? Would it be possible to escape?

Anything is possible. The concentration of Konti slavery would be in Ravok, Sunberth, and isolated areas where slaves have been moved too.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here but I was wondering how wide spread slavery is in the world. I understand Ravok and the like are centers of slavery but I have seen very little about slavery outside these areas. I would have thought slavery would be pretty common but I don't want to jump to conclusions.

Generally you just have to look at the city description. Ravok and Sunberth of course have slaves, but other places do as well though sometimes not as obvious. Riverfall, for instance, purchases kelvics from Ravok for breeding/bonding purposes. Wind Reach does not have actual slaves, but it does have the dek which for all points and purposes function very much like a slave. So basically you just gotta read the lore on each city and see what it says, and ask a Storyteller if you can't find it.

Oh i am glad that i found this thread. i am a total newbie who is interested in joining this whole rp family. my questions are slightly similar to previous ones, but more pertaining to circumstances.

My character which i am designing is a konti woman, and like it is previously stated, they are sought after as slaves. I have already written in her history (which i am still working on getting into the character sheet which i am confused on making (ive got stuff down, just formatting issues)) that when she was a little girl, she was stolen away and bought as aslave because of her gift. This gift of sight from avalis is different from most, as she can see peoples histories. She can tell what lies theyve told which crimes theyve commited what secrets theyve kept, and because of this she and her gift have been sought after by the mizahar equivalant of the mafia, governements, lawyers and other likewise people... But she has started traveling to answer the call to get over the fearof her gift and to find some good in it.

Sadly, soon after she started traveling, she was taken into slavery. This is where my question begins, if i want to start her out in slavery, do i have to find someone that will relativly own me or the caravan or trafficing circle that i am in? And if so, to procede and to try and get out of it to meet new characters and start a different life, but with more backstory, do i have to find someone who is willing to go along and let me be 'saved' and to wait for some people to free me and the other slaves in the caravan? Or can i just set it up as is and let someone find me and get along witht his w/o having to go through countless people looking for people to play along? Just wondering, remember i am still a noob.
