An inland sea created by Ivak's cataclismic fury during the Valterrian, the Suvan Sea is a major trade route and the foremost hub for piracy in Mizahar. [lore]
Asli Island is a deceptive island. The first time you see it, you will think that it’s just a normal tropical island - uninhabited and probably not worth landing at. But any Svefra cook worth his salt knows better. This little island has no particularly large fauna, nothing larger than a couple of small monkeys, some rats and other animals of little consequence. So what could it be? The real secret to this island is the single human living there and his particular hobby. The man’s name is Telren, who for some reason or other never tells anyone his last name. His hobby that makes him so useful to sailors is that he is a farmer - and a damn good one.
Telren spends all of his days tending to the orchard that lies behind the screen of typical tropical plants and a raised barrier to prevent the salt water from getting in. If you know to stop here, and if you’re willing to sit and talk for a while sharing a story or two, you’ll leave with at least a sack of fruit. Once you get through the screen. You will be walking through orchards of cocoa, coffee, oranges, bananas, lemons, papayas, and mangos. Something is almost always ripe here, the weather is always warm, and things grow quickly and often. It’s no wonder that Telren stays here, despite the many offers from different people to ferry him back to the mainland.
NPC List :
Name: Telren Race: Human Description: An kindly old seafarer with the mouth of a sailor and heart of a grandfather, Telren is interesting to say the least. Wizened and wise beyond even his respectable years, Telren is known for passing on wisdom in the forms of stories which, oftentimes, hold some sort of moral that helps the one hearing the story in life. His sole passion in life is growing fruits and vegetables, which he is not afraid to share with his visitors. As generous as he is talkative, Telren is well known for judicially giving away his valuable fruits to sailors who spare him a moment to tell a story or two.
