Not found on any map, Endrykas is a large migrating tent city wherein the horseclans of Cyphrus gather to trade and exchange information. [Lore]

Gabrielle wiped sweat off her brow and sighed heavily. She continued to have a cross expression on her face as she tied her thick blonde hair. She was somewhere in Cyphrus, in the moving city of Endrykas, feeling much discomfort at the fact that she was trapped in a sea of land. However, the Drykas guide that had brought her to the city insisted that he was going to go back to the coast in a week, and she couldn't find any other person to guide her back at an earlier date.
Discontent weighed heavily on her shoulders. She had failed once again. Her brother was nowhere in Endrykas, nor had anyone seen a stranger with his features recently. He was the only reason she would actually brave to travel to a trap of land, and she fought much discomfort in bringing herself there. She needed to see the sea again, and she was eager to go back to her pod that was waiting for her with much annoyance at her stubbornness. It wasn’t her fault; she had remembered how her brother used to speak about Endrykas with much amazement, which had been strange to her because the Svefra dislike land. He had always said it would be one of the places he would visit if he could, and so her hopes were high in thinking she could find a clue about her runaway brother.
The young Svefra found herself walking to the emptiness which was the sea of grass just outside the city. She knew Endrykas was right behind her, and she knew how to get back. She just wanted to be alone and not be in a crowd of strangers. The sun shone down on the lands sharply, and it was probably only a few hours before noon. Her body felt worn out, but she had a strong urge to move about. Gabrielle was conscious of the heaviness of the long bow resting on her back, and wondered if she could have a chance to use it. Perhaps, one could hunt in this area.
Yards away from her, she saw that some men were leading horses by their reins, and she hoped that they were going towards Kenash so she may ask to travel with them. However, with disappointment, it could clearly be seen that they were headed towards Endrykas. One of them gave her a nod as they passed by her, and she responded with a faint smile. She watched their retreating backs and continued on her way, towards nowhere in particular, and wondered if she would actually find something of interest. |

Riki had taken the day off from his regular work of healing at his father's side. It was less of a break and more of his father telling him he needed to get out and do something other than medicine. Archery was the only other thing he knew. He liked working with animals but even that lead to medicine.
Walking out to the Sea of Grass, Riki turned back to the city, patting his leg so Sadie would follow. Sadie was Riki's dog and rarely was away from his side. "Sade, be careful, okay? I don't want you getting shot." The dog wagged her tail happily. She was just intent to go along for the trip.
Riki could not practice his archery on animals. His gift from Rak'keli had turned his archery into a hobby and a form of self defense. The lack of trees made archery lessons even harder, but he could still try.
When he was in the grasses, he looked over their top. He eyed one of the taller stalks and aimed his arrow at it. Pulling the arrow back, he lined the arrow up, and released. It shot through the air but sadly, missed the stalk. He bit his lip with a sigh. He was not extremely good at archery as he wished.
Looking down at his side, Riki saw that Sadie had trotted off into the grass. "Sadie, get back here!" The Sea of Grass was extremely dangerous if navigated alone. Sadie was not too good at defending herself either. She was too easily scared. He ran after her before finding her sniffing at a girl standing alone in the the grasses. "Sadie! Don't run off. I've told you that." He looked to the girl pulling the dog back lightly. "Sit." The dog listened, looking up at the man with a happy pant.
"Sorry, about her. She gets excited with new people. I hope she didn't scare you." He smiled lightly, petting Sadie so she would calm. |
If Riki is speaking in this color he is speaking in Pavi. If Riki is speaking in this color he is speaking in Common. |

Gabrielle looked startled at the creature that had appeared. It was a dog with white, black and brown fur. It looked at her curiously, and Gabrielle stared back with just as much inquiry. Soon enough, its owner appeared. It was a young man, one whom she wasn't familiar with. He spoke to her in what she assumed was the Pavi language -- and she had no way of understanding him. A part of her wanted to respond in Fratava, just to let the man know how it felt to be spoken to in a foreign language.
"I'm sorry, I only speak the language of the Common... and Fratava, if by any chance you speak it as well," replied Gabrielle, her words in the common language. Her expression looked confused but tired.
The Svefra took another look at this man and saw that he had a bow in his hand. That she could relate to. Gabrielle pointed at his bow and at the one she had strapped to her back, suddenly interested in this man. Her expression of tiredness was instantly washed away and replaced with one off full curiosity.
"Are you out hunting?" inquired Gabrielle, her tone slightly excited and very hopeful. Gabrielle had no idea that this man was marked by Rak'keli, and such would have a difficult time practicing archery on living things. "You see, I've been trying to look for something to take up my time... if you're hunting, maybe I can accompany you? Hm, wait, you do understand what I’m saying, right?"
She had added her last question because she didn’t know if he could understand the Common language. Most, if not all, of the people of Endrykas she had met so far spoke both Pavi and Common, but there was a chance the she could come across one who couldn’t speak the latter. Gabrielle gave him a smile, her eyes bright, and she looked down at his dog. She contemplated on petting him, missing her own animal companion who was currently out in the sea. |
