Her eyes constantly changing, due to her Vantha genetics, but they normally take on a calm aqua color. She has porcelain skin, her lips are a rosy red, her body that of the athletic type, and her fingers are long and like a pianists. Character Concept Lycorice tends to protect others, mainly because she knows what it is like to grow up with no one there to love and to hold her. She does not wish for others to know that feeling. Characteristics Personality ~ Lycorice tends to hide her emotions. She doesn’t like to call attention to herself, and tends to walk among the humans like a chameleon. She does, though, come out of her protective cocoon when children are involved. She would give her life for a child, for she particularly adores them. She has always wanted children of her own, but knows that the likeliness of that is bleak. She’s a quiet woman, but not intimidating, and is known for her silent beauty. All-in-all, she is a gentle, beautiful woman. Since her mother was a Vantha and her father an Inarta, the two personalities clashed and created a calm Mixed-blood of both types, instead of bubbly and hyper, cool and collect. Ethics ~ She has sworn to herself never to harm a child, unless said child is, perhaps, not human and an evil being. She has sworn to protect the humans from the other races, including those of her parents, since many of the humans cannot protect themselves. Likes ~ She adores children, caring for others or, well, living things in general, and is in love with animals. Dislikes ~ She despises the Myrian’s, because all they seem to do is want to hurt others in their lives. Also, they killed both her parents for an unknown reason. Character History Pre-Creation ~ Lycorice was conceived by her mother during a large, horrendous storm in late winter, and grew up alone in the world, her mother and father having been murdered by Myrian’s when she was a little girl, at the age of nine. Ever since then, she has been wandering from place to place, searching for that one person that would be willing to care for her, or let her into their heart. She has always been alone, and wishes she had someone in her life to love. Now she has gone to Syliras to live, for she is still too frightened to approach her mother's home of the Vantha's, in Avanthal. She knows her mother has family there, but her mother had left when she was very young because of her adventurous spirit, completely different from her race's normal personality, to go on a quest. She met her father, and then Lycorice was born. She now had a companion, but still longed for the love of a soul mate. She tends to wear basically the same type of clothes. A long, black cape that matches her beautiful hair, dark blue Bryda's, deep violet boots with silver buckles that a silver smith made and she put on them, and a deep, rose red Vinati. She is equipped with a black whip along with a bow and arrow that she keeps on her person just for protection.
