So... according to http://iwl.me/ I write like William Gibson. Take note that I simply copy and pasted my posts in MIz into the analyzer. Let's see what Wiki has to say about this dude:

William Gibson . . . is an American-Canadian speculative fiction novelist who has been called the "noir prophet" of the cyberpunk subgenre.

What is this writing style doing in a medieval fantasy genre like miz?? I have no idea xD
NOTICE: I am currently mostly inactive til August. As such, guild activities are temporarily halted (watch out for major revamps, changes and organizations when I'm back in full force). Any activity with Eri will be rather slow as well, but I am slowly readjusting back to "Mizahar life", so to speak, so do PM me if we have a thread that I left hanging and we'll talk.

Apparently I'm alike to H. P Lovercraft, Dan Brown, Gertrude Stein, Douglas Adams and Cory Doctorow and that's just five different posts from the same thread. Seems like I have no perception style at all.

I pasted a couple of my solo threads into the analyser and came up with Dan Brown (Nooooo! The Horror! I hate Dan Brown, hate him hate him hate him!) for the first one and Douglas Adams for the second.

I'm glad I tried it with the second thread now, feel slightly better about because of that :D It's a fun little tool by the way, thanks for posting the link to it.

Arthur Clarke, on several posts. Anne Rice on a few. William Shakespeare on one (wut).

I've never read 2001: A Space Odyssey, but now I feel I should.

Oh Paragon, I would kill to have a writing style like Anne Rice :P Dry up lol
'
I got Arthur Clarke... A sci-fi author. I actually own some of his work. So I thought that was kind of cool.

Vladimir Nabokov, and yes, I'm highly pleased about that. Pale Fire, Lolita... his artistry is ingenious.

It took me a while to get the same author twice...
I've got Margaret Atwood, Charles Dickens, Isaac Asimov, J.K. Rowling*, Stephen King*, Stephanie Meyer (to my shame), Cory Doctrow, Dan Brown... and those are just the ones I recognize.

Person who wrote Catcher in the Rye, person who wrote Wizard of Oz, person who wrote Jungle Book, person who wrote Gone With the Wind*...

* indicates 2 results for that author

Did anyone else obsessively take enough data points to see if their writing styles are more consistent than mine? <.<

Ernest Hemingway, Anne Rice, Douglas Adams (this made me squeal like some 5 year old girl, since i love his work), and Arthur Clarke. I actually got Arthur Clarke on all my posts in one thread.
I do read a lot of sci-fi so that might explain Clarke and Adams.. but Anne Rice?
