A village cut off from the rest of Mizahar by the Valterrian, slowly reestablishing contact with the outside world.
Set a little ways from the center of Denval lies the Citrine Center, a two-storied building that serves as a healing clinic for the animals of the city.
While the building is not overly large, it has plenty of space for a couple of healers to live and work. Hearkening back to Denval's military history and its efficiency, the entrance of the Center has a desk and chairs on the off chance that they get some overflow. A door at the back leads through to the working rooms; two surgeries and a supply room. Going through the furthest door takes one outside again. Here one finds a small building containing kennels and spaces for other animals to stay. Around the side of the Center, also accessible from the front, are three stables. The upper level of the building is lodging for the healers.
Sick, injured and stray animals are taken in and looked after here. Many of the creatures that stay at the Center do not belong to anyone, so people are often encouraged to look around and adopt a cat or dog, but mostly to keep the rat population under control. If dangerous or magic-spawned creatures are captured within Denval's vicinity, they are often brought to the Center for study.

Gnosis: Rak’keli [2]; Eywaat [1]; Oriana [1]
Languages: Denvali, Common
Haxo is a relatively young man in his mid-thirties, though he appears younger. Brown of hair and dark of eye, he usually wears a serious expression. In reality, he is a light-hearted, humorous man, and can often be caught in good-natured conversation when he is not working.
He started out as a healer of people under the tutelage of old Master Jarret, working daily to treat regular illnesses and wounds of Denval’s various citizens. Always studying, he made sure he was well-versed with traditional healing methods, not wanting to rely solely on Rak’keli’s gift. When the Citrine Center was founded, he leapt at the chance to try his hand at animal healing, and quickly established himself as the chief healer.
Nowadays, he finds himself treating everything from cats to cattle, finding more satisfaction in helping Denval’s creatures than he did it’s citizens.
