Arojam Basic Information Race: Charoda Birthday & Age : 7 Spring 490 AV (age 21) Gender: Male Languages Language 1: Fluent Char Language 2: Basic Common Language 3: None Physical Description Smooth, somewhat pale-teal skin. Has four lines tattooed below his eyes, two on each side. He has three fin-like structures on the back of his head. The large one in back serves no purpose. It is the equivalent of a human's hair, although it is all one piece, it does not part like a human's hair. The two smaller ones on opposite sides of his head, however, act as his ears. He is very thin and flexible, weighing only 110 pounds. He is six feet tall. His hands and feet are webbed. Character Concept Mostly living a laid-back life, he spends the majority of his days relaxing and enjoying the beauty of life, meditating to clear his mind of negative thoughts and influences, or worshiping the Goddess Makutsi, whom he greatly respects and admires, and offers thanks to her in the form of prayer. He is very peacful, and has only been in one actual fight. Other than that incident, he gets along with the over Charodae all of the time, along with the outsiders he meets on occasions. His interests include meditation and dancing. He has no particular house, but he prefers to sleep in growing coral on the ocean floor. Character History [BEFORE CREATION] When he hatched, he wasn't anything special. Not that he grew up into anything extraordinary, but he was just plain. He showed no talent in anything like his brothers did. He refused to begin lessons because he just wanted to be accepted for who he was, not what his parents wanted him to be. He attended school like all the other children, but by the age of 12 he still showed no proficiency in dancing or acrobatics. By now his parents had almost completely preferred his older brothers over him. He couldn't take it anymore and began training his dancing skills. He began to fall behind in school work but he figured it was worth it to win the love of his parents. His peers (with the exception of one of his brothers, Xalu) cheered him on as he was about to do a public performance, the big day to win his parent's love is finally here. His parents were about to return from a trading session on the land along with his other brother, La'tayru, but an older Charodae (who was a close teacher of his) came onto the stage and whispered something into his ear. With tears in his eyes, he was escorted off the stage by two of his closest friends. The performance had been cancelled, his parents and brother had just been murdered. The only family member he had left, Xalu, walked to him and they had a talk alone. He explained that his parents wouldn't want to watch the performance anyway. This enraged Arojam, and he lunged at Xalu. After the fight was broken up by another peer, Xalu walked off, smirking, and hasn't been heard from since. This was the moment when Arojam decided he wanted to be a proficient dancer, not for his parent's love, but to prove that he could be better than Xalu. He began to meditate, and found true unconditional love within the Charodae and the Goddess Makutsi. He now welcomes everyone with open arms so they will not have to face the same pain he did.
