"Here, I will meet you in part way, I just need to go get my bow. We will be more likely to catch something if we both have one."

On that note, Txurstum set off sprinting towards the commons. He enjoyed running, it made him feel like he was faster then the world. Especially running through the forest. When he reached his space in the commons, he retrieved his bow. Then, again sprinting, he sat back out towards the Edge. When he reached there he was out of breath so he sat for a minute. When his breath recovered he headed towards the part of the forest where Cherie had gone. Unable to find her off the bat he called quietly, trying to avoid alerting any game.

"Cherie, You around here?"

Can we make the posts a bit longer?

Once Txurstum left Cherie headed towards the place that he had pointed out. As she trudged through the white snow Cherie looked about for any tracks of animals. She soon saw, what looked like a deer track. Cherie decided to wait for Txurstum here. The area of this forest was beautiful, there were no sign of beings and it was just so peaceful. After a short time, Cherie crouched down and waited. Soon she heard the noises of someone running towards her. Cherie stood up and got her bow ready in case it was some good game.

When the noise got closer Cherie realised that it was Txurstum and she lowered her bow. She soon heard him calling her name and she walked towards him whispering loudly, “Is that you Truxstum?”

Soon Cherie saw him and jogged over to him and waved. When he noticed her Cherie pointed and whispered, “There are some deer tracks over there.”

Soon both of them were walking towards the deer tracks, with Cherie leading the way. She wasn't a good tracker but she often got lucky with these things. When Cherie stopped at the tracks she looked at Truxstum, “Should we follow them?”

"Yes, its me."
Cherie headed towards the spot she had pointed out there where tracks. Txurstum quickly followed behind, careful to look out for any small game along the way. He found none, unfortunately. Almost everything appeared to still be away, hiding from the storm. When they reached the spot Cherie saw tracks, Txurstum could quickly tell right away she was right, they were deer tracks. "They are fresh, by my guess of it. With the wind blowing right now any tracks would be covered up pretty quickly."

He stood now and looked at Cherie. He was getting a little excited, the thought of fresh game made him hungry. He followed the tracks for a few feet and could tell they headed deeper into the forest. For how far he could not tell, but he could tell it had walked a ways to get there.."I think we should follow them, It might have laid down to rest not far off."

Txurstum headed towards where the tracks leaded, careful to follow them correctly. Not 30 yards off, he saw a small rabbit leap across the trail. Careful not to alert the animal, he drew a bow a knocked an arrow. He quietly pointed to the rabbit so Cherie could see. He drew the bow and aimed. Taking a deep breath, he shot. It missed right above the rabbits spine. He gave a slight cuss, just quiet enough so he thought Cherie could not hear. Heading back on the trail of the deer he saw it went through a bush. He glanced over and saw it, resting as he thought, and motioned for Cherie to get down.
"It is right there. I think you should take the shot, I've been off lately."

Truxstum thought that the tracks she had seen were fresh so they both decided to follow them. They headed off and pretty soon the Inarta stopped, he pointed to the rabbit and signaled to be quiet. Cherie stopped and saw that it was a rabbit, probably out to savage for food. She nodded and watched Truxstum knock the arrow and aim. He soon let go. The arrow flew towards the rabbit, Cherie already thinking it would hit the rabbit. She was wrong, the arrow just missed the rabbits spine. The rabbit, seeing the arrow ran off in the other direction. Cherie sighed, she pointed to the tracks, "If we get lucky there will be much better game soon." Truxstum walked back to the tracks with Cherie following. Soon they came to a clearing and there right near the bushes was the most magnificent deer.

Truxstum motioned for Cherie to get down, she did. He turned to her and whispered, "It is right there. I think you should take the shot, I've been off lately." Cherie leaned forward,"Okay." She walked in front of Truxstum and knocked her arrow. Her father's bow had served her well before, she would make the shot if nothing distracted her. She aimed for the deer's heart and slowing her breath let the string go.

The arrow flew straight at the deer, just barely missing the heart but still killing the animal. She turned to Truxstum, "Let's go see," Cherie walked out into the clearing towards the deer. She put the boot on the animal and pulled her arrow out. She wiped the blood onto the snow and put it back into her quiver. She put the bow down and hoisted the deer onto her shoulders, picking up her bow she said excitedly, "Let's go back."

Txurstum waited for Cherie to take the shot while they were crouched. As she knocked the arrow, He stood up watching the deer. He looked over at Cherie as she let the arrow go, Then heard the thump as it hit the deer, directly next to the deers heart. "Let's go see,"Cherie said to him as she walked out into the clearing. After a second, he reluctantly followed. The deer had been decent sized and looked healthy enough. It was a doe, for it lacked antlers. "Great shot,"Txurstum said.

"Let's go back." Txurstum could hear the excitement in her words. He nodded, and started to walk back. "Wait, let me carry something. I have both arms free." He held out his hand to take something from her.

Cherie heard Txurstum congratulate her, with a, "Great shot."
He started to walk and then stopped and offered to carry something for her. Cherie wasn't to keen to give anything away as she was perfectly fine, but handed him her back pack. With the annoying straps gone she thought she would be able to walk faster.

Cherie adjusted the doe on her shoulders and started to walk back towards the bushes. Her eyes wandered the sky as she searched for an sign of an eagle. The magnificent birds always fascinated Cherie. "Come on."
Cherie mumbled while still looking up.

The screech of an eagle scared Cherie as she saw a small eagle land next to her. The small male eagle seemed to belong to someone, yet did not have any sign of a tag on him. Cherie dropped the doe and looked straight into the eagles eyes. She took off her scarf and wrapped it around her arm and then whistled for the eagle to come.

The eagle, nervous about once again becoming a pet, jumped up onto her arm. Cherie looked at Txurstum, "He looks like a domestic eagle but has no sign of a tag of any sort."
