Appearance Thomas is tall and medium-built, with a mellow, pleasant expression, blond hair and blue eyes. He has an air of relaxation that permeates the air around him, and seems at first sight like someone who is extremely difficult to anger. People who draw that conclusion would be right, but his long limbs conceal a good measure of strength and he's very nimble. Concept/Personality Thomas is extremely laid back and mellow, and he will almost never get angry, even in extreme cases. His separation from his parents emotionally led him to value his sister's company much more, and he will quite readily get into a fight to protect her, even if he wouldn't lift a finger to defend himself or get angry in any other case. Essentially, he will only get angry if Jules is in distress. He speaks in a flat, alto murmur and will not often raise his voice, even in loud events like storms. He is always smiling slightly and is never intense in his expression. When relaxing, he has a habit of staring into space in a vacant manner. He also whittles when there's spare wood to hand. He enjoys open spaces and only goes indoors to sleep or in dangerous weather. He doesn't so much enjoy the dawn and dusk as he does wear them like evening suits - he is at his best in low, natural light and always performs more efficiently in such conditions. Housing Casinor Houseboat with two beds and numerous soft surfaces to use as beds, including basic equipment for sailing (sextant and chart, grapple pole, float bladder) Personal History Thomas Lacey was born a Svefra on a Palivar and spent most of his days on said boat, with his family. Unusually, his father was magically gifted and frequently used this to his own advantage, leading to a certain measure of isolation from his family amongst the Svefra community – at least, as far as Svefra can be isolated from their fellow men. Because of this, his father and him were not on speaking terms for much of their life. This slight tension between him and his father caused a further schism between him and his mother. Having no one left to go to on the long periods at sea, he spent increasing amount of time with his little sister, and as such grew increasingly close to her. By the time he was seventeen, they were inseparable and would spend much of their spare time together, talking or working together. His father would come to be extraordinarily frustrated at the degree of insulation this gave Thomas from his father’s influence. At the age of twenty-one, he finally moved off of his own father’s boat having built his own with the help of other parts of the Svefra family. His sister came with him, and to the present day they are still on the Suvan Sea, ferrying travellers across the wide expanse for money and fishing for their food. Despite his conflicts with his own family, he maintains a close relationship with his sister and with most if not all of his people. Thread List Coming soon.
