Hey all mind if i join in..?))

Cil chuckles, walking over to the horse. Cil was watching the scene from the side of the street as he was walking to check on some of the animals. His dark hair is not entirely dry, and his breath comes in swirling thick clouds. His eyes are bluish green of curiousity. "Evening...As a member of Frostfawn myself, i have to ask, why is our young one way out here...?" He raises a brow. Motioning to the colt and group of people around it. "And might i ask why the this one was galloping through town and creating an..amusing...ruckus..?" he rubs his hands together, breathing on them then putting mittens on.

Sentai a whitish grey wolf dog with intelligent gold yellow eyes comes up to him, he turns to Sentai, motioning to the horse and clicks his tongue thrice. Sen then trots off so as not to scare the horse. Cilion smiles lightly almost nervously at the group, his demeanor becoming more..enclosed. His eyes become a lighter color getting close to yellow now. But, he turns back to the group, taking a breath. "But honestly...The colt..why is she way out here...?"

Alea pulled up next to the group just as the Vantha approached them. She had been trailing behind slightly, due to riding at a trot, since she did not trust her skills to ride any faster than that through the winding streets of the city. As usual, when she arrived everything was a disaster, but she did give Yuros a great big smile of relief when she saw him with the colt trailing tamely behind.

Taking care of important things first, she rode Firefly at a walk toward Yuros and the colt, threading their way carefully through the carnage of a bleeding Banir and mildly confused-looking Zygaud. She paused to lay a thankful hand on the great stag's nose. Even with her on a horse, the stag was taller, but her eyes were almost at the level of his, and she was comforted by their familiar brown depths.

Sparing only a moment on such greetings, Alea leaned over and grabbed the colt's reins before he could cause any more trouble. She considered dismounting, but from all the way up here she felt important, and almost regal. She finally spared a jot of attention for the Vantha boy. She gave him a smile, but compared to the one she'd had for Yuros, this one was obviously forced. "Sorry for causing trouble. I was just giving some of the horses some exercise and things...got out of hand. It's under control now." She spoke Common with a Denvali accent which had faded somewhat since her arrival in Avanthal.

She noticed Banir's bleeding face, and from the way he was cradling it, the damage looked more that superficial. Just her luck that with all the people she was running into today, the one healer she knew was not among them. "Zy, would you mind taking Banir to find Oluse? He should be able to help him. The rest of use should go back to the stables. I think these horses have had enough exercise." She grinned slightly, trying to make light of the situation, but she felt drained. The adrenaline of the chase was wearing off, and she just wanted things to settle down. "Oh, and someone please pick up Yuros' clothes on the way back."

Blizzard smiled and ackknowledged herself. She almost forgot her snow leopard coat she'd aquired from her grandmother before she died. She put the shaw like peice of fur around her neck and smiled. Then she reminded herself of the others. She petted her fur, then began walking towards the scent of the others.

She made a hare run from it's cover and her keen instuncts said 'Chase it.' She started to run after it, but she kept herself from getting distracted despite her stomach growling. She couldn't resist, she quickl ran after it on it's trail for every second and grabbed it with her feline fangs. She eaglerly ate it, her mouth red from blood. She covered the carcass deeply with snow so it could return to the earth.

She swallowed ahrd to clear her mouth of blood and the smell. She saw a mint plant a grabbed a leaf and threw it in her mouth to make sure no one could smell her breath, and after a while it returned to normal. She walked out of the wooda and saw the group, Alea was on a horse. She saw an elk as well that looked tasty, but she saw they were directing attention to it so it must be important. She cleared her throat "Sorry I was late! Found my clothes!" Se smiled at everyone, her teeth white.

Postby Banir Ironwood on January 16th, 2012, 12:27 am

In a slurry of pain Banir began to stand up his body eagerly encouraging him not to. Putting both hands on his nose he took a quick breath and snapped it back into place. Groaning he began to rub his nose hoping to ease his pain. This did little to help him so he just started to whip off the blood from his face onto his pants. He did this away from from the others. As he recomposed himself he spat on his scarf and tried to get the blood off of it. The cold stung his exposed face but he was fine with it if it meant avoiding his shame. Quickly he began to wrap his scarf back around his neck and brought it up to his nose. Hiding his scarred face once more from the world once again.

Turning to face the people around him he took in slow breaths regulating his body. Ignoring his pain as best he could he stood upright and slowly rolled his shoulders. Acting like nothing was wrong with him he stood looking around. Seeing the new person in their company he recognized the eyes. Vanathan, and by the looks not much of a threat either. Hunger slowly crept upon him as he watched everyone interact.

"I am fine, I require no medical attention" He spoke in response to Alea's request. Defiant in going he folded his arms looking around cautious now. Its not that he hated healers, he just didn't like the idea of someone examining him.
"Where life leads me, is where I shall go. The greater question is, who is willing to accompany me on such a long travel?"

Postby Zygaud on January 16th, 2012, 1:03 am

Closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath of the frigid air, Zygaud tried to grasp the situation that had so rapidly unfolded. So many newcomers in such a short time, truly Avanthal was a wondrous place. In the past, the hulking ape-man would have run scared in an event such as this, fearing for his life in the presence of so many foreign creatures. But now he wasn't scared, he was among friends. Those who he didn't know seemed not to hold any ill-intent and that pleased him. Perhaps he had been wrong about the world outside of Spires, perhaps his father had merely worried too much about him and infected him with that worrisome nature. For once in a long time, he felt at peace in a crowd.

Opening his emerald optics, the hulking Jamoura withdrew his staff from the notches that kept it safely attached to his backpack. He wasn't truly whole when he wasn't holding his family heirloom. It had seen his father through many interesting situations, and it would do the same for him. "If he doesn't feel that he requires medical assistance, I don't think it will be necessary. A broken nose isn't much to worry about," Zygaud spoke in a matter-of-fact way, though not forgetting to add, "Though... Banir, was it? It could be be crooked for the rest of your life if you leave it as is. Perhaps you're the sort who takes pride in his injuries... though I'm not sure how much honor there is in a crooked nose gained through a rather hilarious fall." Content with what he had said, Zygaud allowed his piercing gaze to wander the faces of the amassed creatures. Kelvic, human... whatever Banir was, as he didn't seem to be entirely of the Vantha sub-race of humanity.

Realizing that he hadn't yet introduced himself to the newest arrivals, Zygaud swept down into a polite bow, wincing a bit as the throbbing pain in his legs caused by his use of the Flux became evident. "I am Zygaud, a Jamoura of the Spires. It is a pleasure to make all of your acquaintances." He spoke in a deliberate manner, his Common still being deeply accented and corrupted further by his deep, almost roaring voice. He wouldn't want any of his newest companions to misunderstand him.
Denial is the road to self destruction.

Postby Yuros on January 16th, 2012, 5:43 am

The Kelvic was assaulted by a variety of new faces and smells as he rounded a corner. His attention was first captured by the Man of Rage and Fear, his heavy breathing and clinking armor now familiar to Yuros, and when the man's unsteady pace sent him sailing into the snow the smell of blood caused Yuros' ears to flick forward in surprise. Leaning forward a bit, Yuros sniffed the air but found only slight traces of the metallic scent, and so dismissed it as a minor injury.

With Banir accounted for the Stag's attention was drawn next to the Jamoura, and his hair bristled slightly for he thought it might have been the one from before. After a quick inspection, however, Yuros discovered that it was another of the Keepers of the Forest. Sniffing, Yuros found this ones smell to be a bit more pleasant, suffused with more of an earthen allure instead of sweat and exertion. Slowly his agitated muscles relaxed once more and the Kelvic straighted back to his full height, his eyes still on Zy, This one is different... But still no threat to the Huntress.

Then Yuros caught the sent of the one he had been searching for. His great head adorned by a crown of ivory turned toward Alea as she trotted up on a new beast. Snorting in derision Yuros stepped forward, the colt following in his wake as he neared the Huntress and bowed his head slightly so that he was on eye level with her, though with her height on the horse he did not have to bend to far. His eyes burned with the untamed ferocity of the forest, but with a single touch from the girl those intense eyes faded to still ponds of affection. Blowing out a stream of air, Yuros pushed his nose into Alea's touch, eyes half closed as he enjoyed the the contact. Sniffing the air he could smell the Huntress' heightened emotions, her adrenaline and worry mixing into a sharp sent that caused the Kelvic to look around at the surroundings suspiciously.

It was then that the Kelvic caught the sent of a beast of Fang and Claw, and his great head turned to examine the new comer and his strange companion. His muscles tense, Yuros tosses his head and stamps his hoof, but the gesture was lost as the wolf soon turned to depart. Calming once more the Kelvic turned back to Alea, taking comfort in her voice and in her glances toward him.

Then, a new sent wafted in the air, a sent that sent Yuros' agitated nerves into a frenzy as wave after wave of memories flooded him, There is a Hunter here!? Huffing and stamping his hooves hard enough to cause the ground to tremble, Yuros whipped his antlered head about, tossing those ivory points this way and that as he searched the horizon for the source of the scent, There is blood in the air, a fresh kill...

His agitation increased as the scent seemed to be coming closer, and his nervous feelings spread to the colt behind him. It too began to fidget and trot in place and Yuros grunted and moved closer to Alea. Then, a shape appeared approaching the group, and from it the scent was resonating. Now that it was closer the Kelvic could smell a hint of mint, as if it had tried to cover the scent of its latest meal, but the metallic smell was almost overpowering to the nose of a beast used to fearing his own mortality.

As Blizzard approached Yuros reaed high, tossing his great head in a threat, slamming his front hooves hard on the ground so that it shook, maybe unbalancing someone not prepared. Lowering his head the Kelvic stepped forward between Alea and the Snow Leopard, huffing and stamping his hooves in an obvious threat. Yuros towered over the other Kelvic, and his agitation and ferocity was enough to quiet many a beast in the Spire.

Cil eyes the group from the distance, wishing either Sen or Chera were here. He speaks in common (Unless i say he switches we'll keep this as normal for now) "Glad to hear it's under controll..." he turns from Alea, eyeing Banir thoughtfully. "Are you sure you're okay there, sir..? Also..I don't want to speak out of place, but the Jamoura-." he nods to Zy "Seems to be in the right." his eyes wander back over to the Jamoura, his eyes the blue green of curiosity again, wondering why the Jamoura is here, but not wanting to be rude to ask. Then his gaze wanders to Banir's nose, studying the break.

He looks back over to the rest of the group as a whole..eyeing each individually, sizing them up and down, critically, also noting weapons and trying to read intent. "The colt is in need of water though..." At this point Yuros started his show of defense. "Oh dear...He'll get somebody hurt like that...We need to calm him down, and fast." she follows his gaze to Blizzard. "Excuse me, Miss could you please slowely back up, he's tagged as dangerous to this girl....Oh, yeah by the way, I'm Cilion Frostfawn, and the wolf was my brother Sentai, we'd rather he not scare the poor horse. An interesting pleasure to meet you all...but still..the stag..step back if you'd please he might accidently hurt someone." He nods to Yuros "No offense meant, ofcourse.."

He warily begins to walk closer, murmuring in Valni to make the sing song noise of words become a calming, almost lullaby. "It is okay, massive stag, you will be fine, as will the girl, calm down, there is no cause for alarm." he gestures curiously, in slows patterns all motioning down, for Yuros to calm down, he continues murmuring soothing words and getting softer as he gets closer.

Alea had never seen Yuros this fierce, and it frightened her. The swinging of his antlers brought back old fears of being skewered, fears she'd thought long buried. It didn't help that Yuros' agitation was being picked up by the horses. Even the normally steady Firefly was becoming obviously uncomfortable. Under normal circumstances, Yuros stepping closer to Alea would have comforted her, but not in this state.

When he stamped his hooves, that was the last straw. She was too weary to muster up any courage, and the horses were anxious to flee. Rather than try to ride forward, toward the scary things, Alea pulled back on the reins as calmly as she could muster, backing both horses up several steps before turning and letting them continue at a trot, taking a roundabout way back to the stables. She tried to prevent them from giving into panic; Cilion's comment about the colt needing water was almost certainly true, though it wasn't something Alea had thought of.

As soon as the stables were in sight, she slowed the horses both to a walk, hoping that would be enough of a cool-down for them. She also hoped she'd be able to get them groomed and taken care of before something else caused a major distraction...

Blizzard's instincts said Pounce on him, he'll be a meal. He started stamping his hooves and throwing his head around, so she backed up "Hey, chill out. I haven't done anything to you." She sighed "he probably senses I'm a wild predator." She was growing tired from shifting all the time.

Blizzard eyed Cillion in a 'I could have you for breakfast' sorta way but she didn't show it. She rolled her eyes and backed up of coarse then she looked at Zygaud and Banir "We should head back, and Banir, you should see someone about that nose just incase it grows back crooked, unless you take pride in battle wounds, in which it could make a good tale. I'll meet you all back at the stables if that's where you're going. I need to catch a meal outside of the city, for I haven't eaten a decent meal in a week."

With that, she backed up and turned around then ran toward the city gates. Some people were watching her, she even heard a lady say "Watch yourself!" in common. She kept running and running until she reached the Icy Wall Gates. She passed through them, then headed for the forest. She eagerly disgarded her clothes and buried them under the snow making sure she was the only one who could find them. She let her feline side take over and she morphed back into human form. She let her paws feel the snow and retracted them, then unsheathed them multiple times then she made sure they were out and ready to go.

Blizzard smelt the air for a wandering deer or herd or an elk. Elk preferably. She caught the smell of prey, her stomach rumbling. She quetly ran deeper in the forest and spotted a deer. It was a buck, that's horns would mzke good for carving something and selling, or just the horns themselves. It looked like a six pointer, but all that mattered to her was the meat. She made sure her claws were fully out and when he wasn't facing er and was digging through the snow for food, she ran. The chase was on and it was gonna be close. He jumped over a fallen tree with Blizzard hot on his trail. He stepped into a thicket of thorns and brush, then stumbled giving her the advantage. He jumped up again and was going full speed. She kicked it in high gear then pounced on him. Her claws dug into his hindquarters. She bit his back and brought him down with her weight. She quickly ended it by biting his neck. She'd caught herself a meal and hungrily ate.

Postby Banir Ironwood on January 16th, 2012, 8:16 pm

Seeing Yuros's agitation grow Banir prepared himself. Dropping into a stance that he was becoming comfortable when fighting. His left hand was raised in a fist while his right was open. The metal claw on his right hand clattered with each movement he made. Though the winter winds stabbed at him, he felt safe under his hood and covered by his scarf. Having no idea who his enemy would be he stuck close to Zygaud, keeping within perhaps five feet of him. Since the Jamoura was the largest of the group chances where he would be the safest person to be near. He didn't like the look of Yuros while the other Kelvic was around.

Though when Alea left, then the snow leopard Kelvic. He almost felt disappointed and relaxed from his stance. The metal slowly shifting on him. As Alea left Banir silently waved good bye with his gloved left hand. Steadily he grew more calm but slowly came the realization that his body was still in pain. Hoping it was just from the fall he rolled his large shoulders. The leather that held his shoulder guards in place gave a slight creak as they shifted. Held in his dirty green winter coat he stood in growing discomfort of the cold.

The light metal covering the front of his boots shook lighting as time passed on. He was becoming cold and recently sweating from running hadn't helped. It took him a moment to realize the Jamoura had introduced himself a small while ago. He thought that in time he might do so as well. When there are less people around, and he is far warmer than he is right now. It was hard to concentrate when his mind kept wandering off in his own head. He was missing half of what was going on.

Believing his best chance would be to stay silent and watch. He moved out of the wind chill his breath moving through his scarf as a thick mist. His mind slowly becoming absent as his thoughts drifted away, the pain in his legs and what little was left in his face. The pain didn't let his mind drift too far as he watched the events unfold.
