history
Born into the Amethyst clan to Asondra and Deremik Windseeker, Scarlett was cherished greatly by her parents, aunt, and uncle. She had no other siblings as she was the only one her parents could afford to raise. She was a very happy baby that was entertained in every way possible to keep the smile upon her face. Scarlett loved her parents dearly as every child her age (2) would. They taught her to speak Pavi with help from the rest and even some Common as well. When Scarlett turned three years of age, her parents decided to join a Glassbeak Hunting Party for some extra money to buy her a gift for her birthday. After promising their return, they told her they would be back soon with a gift for their lovely child.
Scarlett never received a present nor did her parents return. While the hunting party was moving along, her parents went off to find signs as they figured if they were the first to find the Glassbeak and kill it, they would gain more money. They did find it, but the Glassbeak killed them. The rest of the hunting party had to break the news to her aunt and uncle. While Scarlett had been staying with her aunt, she wondered why they weren't back yet. She waited days, weeks, and months with no word from them or from her aunt about their whereabouts. Her aunt would simply lie to her "They wandered off to find your present. They just haven't found that perfect one yet and are still looking." As she grew older, she doubted they'd ever return and soon they were faint memories. When she was about six, she finally assumed they'd abandoned her and decided to take interest in her mother's bow which she had left behind.
When she was ten years of age, her aunt decided to tell her what had actually happened. Scarlett shed no tears as she had waited seven years for their return and the feeling of abandonment had dwindled. She still felt sorrow, yet not as strongly and simply responded "I had assumed they were gone for good as in abandoned me. I believed they were just parents trying to make their girl happy. I figured I had been forgotten all these years, when in reality, they were dead." by this time, she had been training with her mother's bow and had become good for children her age. Especially riding horseback and shooting as her uncle would let her borrow his horse.
When she turned fourteen she was gifted with her own Cyphrus Strider foal, in which she named Rocky. With help from some members of the clan and her aunt, she grew Rocky into the beautiful stallion he is today. He's the one that got her through the rest of her childhood and was her first actual friend. At this time, she was skilled in shooting from horseback with a bow and even slicing with her sword from horseback where others were just now beginning it. Her lonely past actually did prove a benefit and made her who she was today.
