Character Concept: Dahlia is a very quiet person who tends to keep to herself, unlike her pod. She chooses to grasp the moment in silence rather than chew it away with words. Half of the time she enjoys reading the many books her pod keeps about her tavan. Of course this is right after she is done with her work, and it's now time to rest at least for her. But in other cases, she enjoy whispering to the many manta rays that come across her peering over the ship. As time increases she finds her desire to swim with the manta rays and learn their ways. The more curious and naive she becomes towards this amazing creatures. Dahlia has actually now come to a new aspect of life in terms of how she sees it. She doesn't see at it a regular person, but as a manta ray would see it. Just in the form she was in now. Character History: As A Mere Child - There were any instances where she had thought about what the life of a manta ray was. She questioned herself if there would ever come the situation where she became an actual manta ray. Her pod laughed at her curiosity, mocking her everyday about it. Dahlia knew they were kidding, but it still didn't mean it didn't hurt. Her pod never understood her feelings for the manta ray, it was as if this were her God and she prayed it everyday. Dahlia expected more of her pod, therefore she did what any other girl would have to do. She observed the actions of her pod, seeing how they did their work and how they interacted with the manta rays. She was to paranoid at the time to even jump in the water, thinking that she was going to become like a manta ray. She would have enjoyed that, but at the same time she wanted to hold onto her life in this form. The Struggles of a Teenager - By then she had gotten over the whole 'she would become a manta ray' phase. Now she was mature and could defend her own battles, she was one of them. Sort of, she had her own individuality like the rest of her pod. She worked, then took her breaks, back to work, and then took a nice swim with the manta rays. Until one day, when she was swimming with one of the manta rays there she heard the whispers. She had come to a realization that this was how the manta ray's communicated with eachother. That was when Dahlia became like a manta ray, pure silence but got the work done. She thought if she were like that, then she would be able to be more graceful and delicate. Eventually, she found that this enhanced her work because she had found balance. The Life of an Adult - Dahlia was much more mature, and was able to fend for herself much better than she was a few years ago. More and more, she grew more curious about the magic of the manta rays. But in some cases, she saw what they called to be love. One male manta ray and one female together, as they swam in the night time. How beautiful it was, only making her want that same feeling so badly. Dahlia was never the one to be the most favored by a man, she thought it was because she was ugly. But the thing was, she chose to stay in the shadows unlike the many in her pod. She thought that they were crazy to be doing that, the man should make the first move unlike the female. As the manta rays did. Dahlia thought that the way of the manta ray was correct, but she was completely oblivious to the real world. She was practically in her own world, that made her own rules. Therefore she always did what she wanted despite the many faults her peers claimed to say she had. As if she cared, she was still independent. Please add this in.   Lores Your Lore "Observing her peers actions" isn't specific enough and could easily fall under the skill of Observation. Perhaps something more along the lines of Lore of Being Picked On.   Housing I noticed that you have no form of housing or equivalent.
