[Flashback]Reduce the darkness (Eridanus)

She thought much about her life this night. This might be the night to change her path or make it stronger. But she wasn't ready to decide yet. She still felt protective about her ideas up until now and she knew she must surpass that feeling. But not now. She needs time to think. And it's not like she doesn't have time.

"Me?", she said, cheerfully, pretending that she haven't expected that question. "I'm just gonna do my own thing, as always. I have to think a bit, I'll keep saving, and I might spend it on school one day. I have time to decide until then."

She looked at the sky again. Leth's moonlight slowly disappeared to be changed for Syna's light. She thought about Ethaefal and their sad destiny. Eternity without something they like the most. Suddenly she felt glad to be mortal and have shorter life, which made her concerned about all the things they talked about tonight. She just felt like she wouldn't be able to enjoy a moment if it wasn't just one, unrepeatable moment.

"I really should get going now... I'm sorry for disturbing your training", she said, realizing that sunrise actually means it's morning and somebody might see her. "I'm really glad I talked to you. Thank you", she whispered with a bit shy tone and a big smile she always wore.

He nodded with her reply. At least he managed to cause her to reflect, even for a little. Perhaps his little act here might have planted the seeds for change in this person, who might even end up changing the world in ways he would not know, could not predict. Who knows?

As the first rays of sun began shining through, the ethaefal lost his celestial body, turning back into his different mortal body of a vantha. It was not the instant transformation of kelvics with the flash of light, or the way morphers gradually changed their bodies. It was more of a case of... a change just like that. One moment an ethaefal, one moment a vantha. No flicker, no light, no signal of any transformation. When the time came for the switch it just happened.

He was now in the body of a young adult vantha, but his smooth unlined face made him look even younger - indeed this was the age and form of which Leth chosen him to be for it was the most pleasing to the moon god aesthetically speaking. The serene beauty, the tranquil personality, it was all gone, instead replaced by the attitude and traits of his mortal form. The only similarities, if one was observant enough, was the same glitter of curiosity and passion in his eyes - though the spark of passion was stronger in his mortal form - and a 'feel' rather than 'look' if world-weary wisdom that other twenty-one year old humans simply do not possess.

"Farewell, miss. It is my pleasure, too," He replied, not intending to ask her name, nor give his if not asked. Knowing names did not mean much, for their exchange meant so much more than that. No names, no intentions, just pure exchanges of beliefs and words between two individuals who coincidentally met.

He would then nod politely to her with a smile before heading towards his dorm room to take the relevant textbooks for his classes, for a day had started.

If they were predetermined to meet, they would meet again.
