Physical Description
Jargon is tall for a his race and he delights in it, his windswept, shoulder length blonde hair hangs loose and it occasionally gets blown into his face. His eyes are like the sea both luring yet dangerous in their dark blue glory. His face is elongated and his cheekbones are close to his eyes. As he flashes his smile he reveals a set of perfectly formed teeth which are booth white and straight
Some might wonder if Jargon’s body was chiseled from the stone by a God or another higher being. His body looks as if made of stone, although most would say cut and defined instead of muscular, years of sailing the Suvan sea has hardened his entire muscular system into peak physical fitness. His muscles jump and twitch as he pulls ropes and pulleys all over his small boat.
Character Concept
The best way to describe Jargon is that he is a character, a combination of normal Svefra traits and some traits no so common to their race. Jargon has more of a sense of ownership than most of his race because of his common dealings with other races over the years. Teaching him that taking stuff can get him into trouble and people always want coin for their stuff.
Another abnormal trait that Jargon has picked up over the years is an dislike for fire. Although he acknowledges its uses for cooking and warmth, anything larger than a small campfire he has an obvious dislike for.
Jargon is a seaman from the tips of his toes to the top of his head, and he dislikes being away from his “partner” for any length of time. His love for the sea goes so far that he can spend months on the water only making brief stops to restock on fresh greens and fresh water. Like all Svefra he possesses a strong sense of loyalty to his kin as a race and because of this he is extremely easy to get along with when around other of his kin.
Although Jargon has many things about that others would consider good and wanted traits, he does have some things that work against him. Jargon is a thrill seeker, he needs his adrenaline shot every once in a while, often happening at the worst times possible. Secondly Jargon is ambitious, probably too ambitious for his own good. He wants to do many things in life and to do most things he knows he will not be able to do them all in a law-abiding manner. Jargon has a dream to build another Navar, he longs for the days of old where the Svefra ruled the Suvan Sea without competition from anyone or anything. He knows that this is ambitious and the amount of money (because that is what the outside world deals in) is massive. Nonetheless he knows that he will do what it takes to restore his family and his nation back to glory.
Character History
Jargon Windrider was born during a raging storm on the Suvan Sea, one of the worst that is remembered by the Svefa of this generation. Jargon was a curious youth and everyone knew he was different from when he first started swimming. Curiously Jargon could swim before he could even walk, leading his parents to think that he would be the next great diver of the Svefra nation. He spent all his time not spent doing things around the ship in the water. People kindly took to the nickname “Fish”
At the age of 12 he convinced his parents to let him switch boats to be apprenticed to a boat building of Svefra nation. For 2 years he learned below his master and he worked diligently. At the age of 14 he built his own Casinor, which he kept tethered behind the main boat while he slept. Whenever he had free time he sailed on his own. Commonly taking two or 3 day side journeys and meeting up with the group later that week.
One day during a merchant visit He brought his own scimitar and began to train with it, although he was never very good with it he learned enough to defend himself with it. On his 18th birthday his parents presented him with a new Casinor, one they had commissioned for him. Shortly after receiving his own boat he struck out on his own. Ever since then he has sailed the Suvan sea on his own, meeting people and finding adventure and chasing his dream.
