Students taking classes are entitled to free accommodation on the University campus. The dormitories are arranged in small blocks, giving them an almost communal feel. Each block shares a kitchen, but students are given their own washroom and bedroom facilities. There is generally a small yard in front of each block too. Room sizes vary, since most of the living quarters pre-date the Valterrian. Larger rooms seem to be available when the Registrar's are presented with a bribe of sorts. There are also twin rooms, where students may elect to share with one another if they so wish. Students are expected to keep their dormitories tidy. Each block is assigned a warden, and the warden checks rooms for cleanliness and tidiness weekly. Since the accommodation is provided rent-free, the expectations are generally strict, to ensure the room's usage for future students. The wardens can also be contacted to deal with any problems in their assigned block. Moderator's Note: This location is open for players to use in threads. |
