:: A BRIEF HISTORY ::
A NOT-SO-HAPPY ACCIDENT...OR WAS IT?{Fall, 486 AV}
Coltyn, to put it rather bluntly, was an accident. His father, Tahn, and mother, Anjomar, thought they were finished having offspring after they successfully gave birth to a healthy son, Derik, and then two lovely daughters, Vashelle and Zarahbett. However, nearly five and a half years later, after a rather intense evening of fighting and drinking, Coltyn was conceived by two individuals who barely liked each other, let alone loved one another. Nevertheless, thankfully, upon the arrival of their fourth child, both parents seemed rejuvenated as individuals and as a married couple.
THE WONDER (WHAT WENT WRONG) YEARS{487 AV to 498 AV}
Up until the age of six, Coltyn vaguely recalls his childhood being both rich and rewarding. He remembers spending countless hours with his father, in the kitchen, practicing some new recipe or putting an exciting twist on a classic dish, as well as an equal amount of time spent with his mother, in her studio, learning how to create paints from scratch or mixing colors for some stunning landscape she would produce from memory. Then, he clearly remembers his younger brother, Antho, arriving...and everything changing for the worse.
Yet another 'accident,' the coming of a fifth child seemed to push the limits previously set by Tahn and Anjomar. As their relationship unraveled, so did the family unit. Soon enough, Coltyn found himself being raised by his grandparents, Vinton and Hana, as well as his older brother, Derik.
It was during this tumultuous phase of his life that Coltyn was introduced to the art of bodybuilding. Derik, ten years his senior and, at the time, in his mid-teens, became completely obsessed with perfecting his body. Perhaps it was his brother's only way of coping with what was going on around them, nevertheless, the results were astounding and - to a boy who idolized his handsome, older brother - very appealing. A bit too appealing, some would say.
AN AWKWARD ADOLESCENSE NEVER FELT OR LOOKED THIS GOOD!{499 AV to 505 AV}
By the time Coltyn turned thirteen, he was well on his way to not only embracing the strict lifestyle that was required to be a successful bodybuilder, but he was actively participating in the daily regiments followed by his brother. The Beautiful Baker Boys - as they were often referred to - were inseparable. If Derik took on a job at a local tavern as a bouncer, Coltyn wasn't too far behind. In time, they became a package deal, working as freelance models for local artists or as escorts for aspiring nobles or, well, simply taking on whatever role was needed for the two to play, be it legal or not. However, as with most good things in life, this prosperous and exciting phase would soon come to an end.
THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS...WHAT EXACTLY IS THIS?{506 AV to 511 AV}
At the age of thirty, Derik began to grow tired of the lifestyle he and his brother had created for themselves. It was time for him to settle down. Coltyn, on the other hand, felt like he was just hitting his stride, so he carried on without his brother. But, after a few months on the road by himself, he began to miss the companionship of his sibling. Again, some would say, a bit too much. Returning to their base of operations in Ravok, not too far from their birthplace, Coltyn settled in for a peaceful life with his brother. However, yet again, an unexpected 'accident' came along, but this time it was in the form of one Jes'y Livingstone, and the young man's life was turned upside down once more. But, that's a story for another time...
