Delighted to see the warrior B!&#% put in place, even more delighted that it was from his own hands as he staggered to his feet. A brutish grin of pleasure was upon the barbarian’s bruised face as he watched the drunken girl lose her balance from the skull cracking blow he gave her. The fight was not over yet and the half blood savage cared not for gender, he was going to end her here and now.
Cade spat a wad of blood to the floor, evacuating his mouth of the red liquid of life. He took took steps towards Revy to gain momentum for a good booting but only made it to the third step before he felt glass smash off the side of his face with such force behind the attack it crumpled the wild beast to the ground.
Cade could feel the blood leaking from his face from multiple lacerations but that was not his most immediate concern. He staggered to his two hands and knees shaking his black mane in attempts to right the world from spinning and darkening in his vision. His ribs exploded in pain as he felt a impact that had such power behind it to send the half blood myrian skidding across the bar room floor. Just over five feet away his back slid to a halt as he smacked into a wall.
Cade grasped his obviously broken ribs, his face bleeding like a tankard of beer and his eyes hard pressed to set upon his attacker. He gritted his teeth against the pain, stumbling to his feet, the world was still spinning and his eyes were soaked in blood. His situation was getting worse and he needed a way out.
He saw a large shadow through his blood lenses and another hard impact against his chest which felt like a well trained foot for the force of the attack smashed the barbarian through the glass window that he stood unknowing in front of. He knew he needed to get out, but this was not what he had intended as his body crashed against the harden terrain of sunberth’s street, His bare back being diced by the shattered pieces of window.
The inferno of rage was building in the well beaten warrior the pain subsiding to berserker temperament while he rose to his feet once more, growling like a wounded bear. He quickly wiped the blood from his eyes with his left hand, drawing his sword with his right just in time to see a Large purple akalak flip through the window landing on his feet with skill that saw to the applause of the crowd from within the tavern and the onlookers from the street.
Cade’s balance was shaky, his sword was held low for his sword was heavy in his hand and the Akalak saw that as a moment to strike again. The purple monster pounced at Cade, with a high kick aimed to rip the barbarian’s head off from its neck. The half blood myrian was not going to be that easy to kill... not this day as he side stepped right and then thrusted forward under the Akalak’s kick. Cade raised his long sword between his attackers legs and running the blade’s edge against his groin. The blade cut deep into the Akalak’s family jewels as blood drained out down his leg.
The purple creature dropped to the ground, crying in paralyzing pain. Cade turned on his heels to take wonder of the damage he had done, the Akalaks wails of pain were music to his ears but he was a man himself and that was no way to leave a man, undignified and all. Out of act of mercy the barbarian brought his blade down, taking the Akalak’s head with a single blow.
Just as quick as the battle began it was over and the citizens of sunberth went back to their routine, de sensitise to violence and death. Cade on the other hand just stood there, ribs broken, face slashed to hell along with being pulverize by the psycho chick he was trying to lay with. He lightly chuckled for the event’s amused him, just another day in this hole of a city. This was home.... this was a way of life.
Now......where did this B%!#& go?
