[Hadrian]

"I've started holding discussion groups and study groups for some of the larger, less advanced classes so the professors don't have to answer basic questions over and over again. I tutor. I help with research. Stuff like that. You would have to talk with the registrar and individual professors to see what was available."

He considered crafting himself; it was something that would end up being helpful in his career, if he didn't have to buy everything pre-made.

[Shakah Doviaire]

Shakah nodded. "H-uh... I don't know that I'd be much help at a lot of that stuff. I also need to make more money than I spend on living and classes." He seemed to think for a long moment. "I'm sure I'll think of something eventually. Where was that crafting shop again?"

[Hadrian]

"Well, you should go to the registrar's office and see what's available. It wouldn't hurt, and even if it doesn't work out for the time being, you'd be better able to plan ahead, and then they'd know you're looking for work-study options and could keep you in mind."

He pointed two shops up. "We're here."

[Shakah Doviaire]

Shakah smiled and nodded. He looked at the craft shop and thought long and hard for a moment. "You know what? Maybe I'll go to the university and save my money for now. I'll stop at the registrar's office, and see what I can do." He looked at Hadrian. "Sorry for making you drag me around. I think I should start growing a bit before I jump into a career. What do you think?"

[Hadrian]

"Hey, I'm the one giving up a life of luxury to study dusty old magic tomes and invite death and doom by going places humans aren't welcome." He grinned. "Knowing that, what do you think the odds are I'll nay-say education leading to a career? Shyke, I believe in education for education's sake."

He put out his hand to shake.

"I'll let you get on home, then. If you need me, I'm generally somewhere around the College of Magic. I don't have much of a life. Today was an exception, not the rule. It was a pleasure, Shakah."

[Shakah Doviaire]

Shakah laughed for a bit, and finally took a deep breath to settle down. Only then did he notice Hadrian's hand, and shook it. "It's been fun. I'll have to organize a few things and then see what I can do about getting into the university. I'll see you later Hadrian."

Putting the harmonica to his lips, and drowning out much of the world, he started towards his home took three steps, and stopped. "Um... Hadrian. Which way is the main street again?"

[Hadrian]

Hadrian laughed too, then pointed Shakah in the right direction.

"I'll keep an eye out for you wandering lost in the Old Quarter."

Grinning, he turned to head in that direction himself, content with the day's proceedings.
