If somebody grew as generic human...

So, this is my case: Nai'shee is generic human. She grew as one (generic human raised her, barely remembers her parents) and everything. But yet, I noticed she has some Svefra traits like ocean-blue eyes and light hair (actually somebody spotted it, but it's the same). I opened her CS and played for a while as generic human and she thinks she is one, normally. Yet, can I make her parents Svefra? It wouldn't change anything, Svefra are just subrace, so if she didn't grew as one it makes her human. Yet, she would be full blood Svefra that way, but I'm not sure if that matters.

I would believe that would be okay, although I bow out to a Founder if they say otherwise of course. I would imagine many people have blood in them that they are unaware of.
