How he became Polla is a long story and one he happened to forget, so it won't be really repeated here. All he remembers is he was at one time a man, and he was a dapper looking one at that. He had a talent for singing, and because of his talent he actually selects his bodies based on physical attractiveness, because he feels that his voice should only be gifted to the most prettiest of people. Because he demands his bodies be perfect in features, he usually selects young women just before they fully mature. The women tend to be dark haired if he can help it. He has a penchant for Symnestra women due to their already pale features and striking beauty. His first body was an Akalak's form, chosen for the physical prowess and condition. He wasn't fond of the voice, so he used the body simply to propel him to find a Dhani woman under the guise of finding a mother for his "Akalak child". From there, dressed in traditional Dhani clothes, Polla allowed herself to be seduced by a Sym man. It took some time, and the death of the Sym's wife was a bit rushed, but the man never should have left Polla alone with her. The Sym woman was named Nehelenia. She was tall, pale like white ash and her eyes were an endless pool of blackness. She was Ramsay's favourite body. To this day, Polla has never found a beauty like her. When in his bodies, his singing voice takes on a hauntingly eerie quality, which, while still sounding quite lovely, produces a general slight discomfort in his audience. For reference, his voice sounds like Lolly Blue Jane while in women's form. When (rarely) in a man's body, his voice will sound similar to Joshua Radin. He prefers the woman's form.
