Coren hummed a happy tune as he was putting the small pile of returned books back to the shelves they belonged too, only to be suddenly disturbed in his job as jack stepped into the lane he was standing in and motioned him to leave the books for a second and come over there to talk. “So what do you need Jack?” Coren said in a good natured tone as he walked up to him. “Felix needs one of us to go and check up on a merchant and an artist to write up a simple trade agreement in between them. Normally I would do it but I am repairing some books right now and I really want to get back to that.” Coren gave an understanding nod, though he was a bit confused as to why the library took care of those things. But it wasn't his bussines ass to how felix's ran his library. He had to get the money from somewhere afterall. “Sure I'll get to it, just point me to where I have to go and give me something to write on. I'll get to it right away then.” Jack let out a sigh of relief. “Thanks a lot Coren, just take the supplies from the cabinet.” He quickly gave coren the destination before going back to his work, leaving coren to the task. It didn't take to long before coren arrived at the place Jack had given him directions too and he entered the little building, being greeted by a short vantha male sitting at the table and a foreigner bundled up so tightly in a mass of furred robes he looked quite similar to a fat pig. “Ah your the scribe that was sent to us then. Good then we can start.” the heavly robed up foreigner said as he offered a seat to coren. |
