While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

4th day of Winter 511 AV

If someone were to list down the things that Bob just did not like, some of it would include cooking, travelling, horses and hunting. Why was that important exactly? Because this was exactly the situation he found himself just to get to Alvadas. Of course Bob has been doing the same quite a bit as he went from city to city but he could never get quite used to it. At least this time the group was fairly big ever since they started off from Sunberth and they even got some extras from Zeltiva. His name was...Harish? Cheriff? "Sheriff?" Close enough from what Bob has heard and now while they were setting up camp easier to talk to especially when Bob found out that "you're from Mura?" He remembered that lovely place with the radiating kontis even if they had some scales but then beauty can cross the race boundaries as long as it can get Bob laid. But that was not important because "we need to get some food for tonight. Wanna help?" It was not because Bob was useless but more because he was just did not want to do that work himself.

The best place to get food, fresh food would be in the forest. Bob was busy looking through some edible plants like his uncle taught him and when "I learned some things in Mura" on his way to Sahova. Not exactly in a class but the library to spend some time until the next ship though just like the things his uncle tried to teach him "I can't remember much now" since he hardly used that knowledge. "Did you learn anything..." They could be important in case they ran into any trouble on the trip but what Bob had in mind was something more important "...that could help up with dinner?" He tried applying the knowledge he had once in the wilderness but failed miserably because it was not extensive enough and had to resort to dried food. He hated dried food. Oh! This leaf looked pretty good. It was in his uncle's books full of red marks and...oh petch. "Can't eat this..." Bob told himself when he remembered the golden rule that bright plants are bad, so he did not need to remember the bright pages for it.

meets it head-on and licks it,
or he turns his back on it and starts to wither away.
