Timestamp: Winter 46, 511 AV Time: Late Morning Location: Nerium Family Shop Devero entered the back of the Nerium Family Shop, to see his mother, wife, and a naked woman he didn't recognize. She was a good bit older, well past her fertility. His mother and Navara were taking her measurements, clearly looking to sell her new clothing. The older woman spoke first, "Ah, this must be your husband, Devero. He is quite easy on the eyes, much more... manly than many of those around here." She turned to Navara, "Do you mind if I borrow his company for the day? You should have my new wardrobe finished by then correct?" Navara smiled, "Please do, he's more of a distraction when he's around here anyways. No one can ever seem to keep their eyes off of him. Or their hands. And we are done with the measurements, so you two can get going." She loved to tease him, and she was quite proud that she had one of the best looking men in the city. The older woman dressed, and grabbed her very full coin-purse. "Let's go do some shopping, I haven't gotten any new art lately." Devero held out his elbow, and she slipped her arm through it. He guessed her to be about fifty years old or so. And while she was older, she was still beautiful. Her face had very few age lines, much of her skin was still tight, and her breasts only had a slight sag to them. They began making their way across the lines toward the Orchard Market. "I'm afraid I don't know your name, and you clearly know mine. So what do I call this charming creature on my arm?" "You can call me Anyo, but my full name is Anyolaisa. I, unfortunately, am a widow of my Web. My husband died of weakness of the heart a decade ago. It gets lonely now. I've never had an empty home before. At least he left me with enough to live comfortably until the end of my days." "Well Anyo, let's see if we can't keep one another in fine company for a good while." The pair entered the hanging stalls of The Orchard Market. Here, she took the lead, pulling Devero along. They approached an amethyst colored stall. It looked to be stocked with jewelry made of the skyglass popular in the nearby city of Lhavit. Anyo picked up a large necklace, with plates of colored skyglass along the neck, with a large sapphire pendant in the center. She went to try it on, the pendant nestling between her breasts. She turned to Devero, "Am I too old for this piece? It seems to be a bit much." Devero examined her, trying to make an honest opinion. Her cleavage had a slight sage to it, but cushioned beneath the pendant. Quite frankly, she was too young for that necklace. "You are actually too young for that necklace. Your breasts still have their youthful spring and fullness, so the pendant covers your natural beauty. You need something small, that sits perfectly in the valley of your curvature." "Oh, you are too kind my sweet Devero. How about this one then?" She held up a choker, that had a long string of pink and red diamonds down the front. She put it on, the line falling between her breasts and settling there. It suited her perfectly. "It is beautiful my dear Anyo." She lit up like a girl being asked into marriage by her childhood sweetheart. She handed the merchant 2500 golden mizas. "How about we go and get a drink?" |
