[Spring 512] Suvan Sea Current Events

Spring is here! Actually it was here thirteen days ago, but I’m just lagging behind pretty bad. That'll change, I promise. Anyways, this season I’m going to be changing things up a bit. Instead of a regular calendar and thread goals, I’m going to be going into depth about the more important things in this season, and just leave the lesser stuff out. But, of course, the thread goals will still be here. I can’t wait until the day they are actually completed. Of course, there is one really important thing about this season, and that is – The Djed Storm – 1st of Spring If you don’t already know about the storm, shame on you and check out this thread. The storm as it pertains specifically to the Suvan Sea can be located at the very bottom of the first page. Suffice to say, the Suvan Sea was hit hard and many ships were lost in the storm and resulting tidal waves. Wild Djed has mutated many of the islands and their inhabitants. Monsters are also on the rise, striking from the recesses of the ocean to take advantage of the disorganized state of the sentient. How did this storm affect you? I highly encourage you to post about the storm if you have not already done so. Surviving with everything intact seems very unlikely, and we need an explanation as to why. Thanks! The next event is - The Svefra Gathering – 57th of Spring As a direct result of the storm, the Svefra have called a gathering on Caiyha’s Fist Isle. This gathering means to account for their losses, which were heavy, as well as decide what they are going to do next. You can really tell the storm is serious if the far-flung Svefra have to come together and decide things as a race. This event will take place in a thread open to Svefra only – here is the link. This list is subject to change as new important events are added. Important OoC Info The season has changed, which means that you must account for your Living Expenses. If you would like more information, please check here. Thread Goals These goals can be completed at anytime, and can occur all the way until the end of May. All of them are open to interpretation; most are meant to be vague. When you have finished these goals, PM me the proof and I’ll be happy to award them to you! Learn something new. Do someone else a favor. In some form, incorporate the storm. Run into something unexpected. Give/receive a gift. Romance! Use it in some shape or form. Obtain an injury. Can be physical or mental. Pray/curse to a God/Goddess. Fail at something. Kill something/cause a death.
