Waves of indignation bathed the girl as she pressed firmer into her eye sockets, causing her to see stars slightly, and many colors natural to having such a pressure being placed upon them. When pain began to form, she took her fingers away to slip back into the water, eyes slanted as she felt a restraint on herself once more. Ana said nothing to Revy in fear of running off her mouth in a fit of her own stupidity, not yet at least, first she wanted to control her inner turmoil. As turbulent as her mind was, she remembered why at first Ana had targetted the woman, why she had so desperately, and had been inconsiderate of her own skills, and then the small, inconvienent black out that had started this ugly mess of.. Emotion. Human instinct, need, as much as Ana had isolated herself effectively from the populace, she still felt that tug in her mind that she needed social interaction. She was going stir crazy, and thus why her emotions seemed to be so unregulated, why at first she had not run away from Revy when she was given the chance. Something had kept her there, had allowed the strange woman to carry her, and offer to pay for goods and services. To pry into the other womans life, and reveal little bits of her own; where had it gotten her? In the bathes, and tell tale promises of food, and rest. What sane person in the land would simply let an oppurtunity like that fly by? Ana certainly wouldn't let it, but she would have to be careful- and very much so if she wanted to con the woman out of her resources for as long as she could herself. Slanting her eyes at the waters misty surface, tranced by the distortions it made, chimes had gone by the longer she thought about what to say, how to accept, or to deny. It was simply too easy to just say 'okay, cool, sounds good, thanks' and it was almost impossible to speak at all, her stubborn pride seeped in, she didn't really know much about Revy, not really but that could be changed with a few questions if Ana cared enough to pry a little more. For now the hospitality would be accepted. If a change of plans happened, then she would take as much from Revy that she could, and then book it away from her; hide. "Your offers are generous.. a little too good to be true, but thankyou, so, so much" Ana felt guilt wedging its way into her chest, as her eyes travelled to look at Revy with tired eyes, an age in the depths of her pupils that seemed to show now "but whats the catch? Its.. I've just learned to be paranoid of such things, what do I have to do for you in return? Just so I know what I'm getting myself into.." |
