Nessela studied Liandra thoughtfully. She had a quick eye for someone of her age, though looking at her no one would think she was over twenty human years. But she was, and frail indeed, though Konti rarely show any such weakness to anyone but other Konti. A charoda? Interesting choice the universe sent her for sure. "Liandra. Well met, girl. And I'd hazard a guess its obvious you are from Charbosi. If you weren't, I'd be surprised." She said with a smile. Then she looked around, meeting the eyes of the occupants of the room. "Everyone wants to see ghosts. That doesn't mean the ghosts want to see them. Why are you even curious about ghosts, Liandra? Most people would rather not know that sometimes their souls don't go directly to Lex after Dira harvests their life. Its a scary thought, being trapped here on this level of existence but not being able to effect it. There are some people that want to get to know ghosts because they want to exploit them. There are others that want to help them. And there are a lot in between. What about you, Liandra? Where would your motivations fall?" She asked carefully. If Liandra gave the right motivations, Nessela would definitely consider teaching her. In fact, their lessons could start now. The ghost cat, somewhere lurking either on furniture or under it - perhaps even the clean laundry - would need feeding. It was easy, normally, to start someone out sedately and Patches definitely fit that bill. The other two ghosts in the room would have way too much fun with Liandra's first time and Nessela didn't want to frighten the girl away. After all,s he might be the one.

Why was she curious? That was an impossible question to answer for her! She just always found herself curious about anything she didn't know about. But then Nessela said that ghosts could be both exploited and helped? Why would anyone exploit a ghost? They have nothing to steal... and are already dead... It made no sense to her. And how could they be helped? Maybe to help move on? She really didn't know enough to fully answer the question, but she found herself wondering if being a ghost was like being injured, or sick? And after learning about the Soulbeads earlier, she guessed that there were mean and angry ghosts too. Could they hurt living people? Could they be hurt in return? There were so many things she didn't know, but one thing she did. "I'm not sure how... but if the ghosts need help, or protected from being exploited, I want to learn to help. And if they are causing trouble in the city, I want to help those effected, and help the ghost as well. I... really don't know a lot about ghosts, and have never seen one first hand, but... I think I can help..." She was hoping that would be good enough. It was honest, but she had always lacked social graces, as she fidgeted around, awaiting a reply. Her large eyes began scanning the rundown shack looking for anything strange or unusual. After her run in with Runi in the Southern Seas, she'd learned that anything could be dangerous or powerful. "Does it hurt to be a ghost? Is it scary for them? And why are they ghosts in the first place?"
