Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

Spring 14th, 512AV
Aquialler Hot Springs

Earlier in the morning Ana had visited various stalls at the Seaside Market for clothes. Yes, she was out clothes shopping with what money she had as her clothes were rather ragged and beginning to show way too much skin after so long. It was time to throw the rags away and get some new clothing to be ragged up all over again, what had prevented her from doing this over the years however was due to being broke constantly. The money that had held the key was still very much in her posession after the cataclysmic event at the beginning of the Spring season. This event however... Had destroyed almost all of her posessions, save the clothes on her person, the mizas in her ragged blouse and a mysterious item she found in the destroyed apartment after finding a way out of the temple.

It was simple really, Ana purchased an empty backpack first to hold her to be newly bought gear first. Then she made her way around, trying to find clothes that looked not as bad as her current garb, she looked like a beggar for Diras sake. Picking out a rather billowy sleeved unbleached linen shirt, tan colored cotton pants that would certainly go past her feet, a leather belt with a regular buckle, a midnight blue sash with spurts of pink, a black cotton tunic, a pair of low leather boots, a black cotton cloak which seemed to be a tad too big for her at first but fit perfectly fine after she put it on, its hood however seemed to be five times the size of her head and fell past her eyes; just as she wanted it to. Finally a new loin cloth, as her current one... Was of rather disrepair.

This was not all she had found, other goods had caught her eye and she figured that if she didn't spend the money then it would be stolen from her later. Thats how it went in Sunberth alot of times, and Ana certainly wasn't going to let that happen to her. Though now she would certainly be a prime target for thieves as she would look nothing like the gangly little wretch she was before. Without out so much as a second glance, Ana didn’t have the patience to haggle with the shop keepers and thus ended up buying a water skin, a bed roll, a bar of soap and then a wooden flute. Well, the instrument was really a whim of a thought, an entertainment and possibly a way to further irk Shroud.

Making sure every item in her new backpack was secure, hidden underneath the big cloak Ana began to make her way to the Aquialler Springs. Taking every way she could that would not attract alot of attention to her person, all she had was the practice wooden weapon for protection and she was certain that with her skill the meager stick wouldn't be enough to do the job. Maybe thwack the assailent in the head and enrage him or her into getting violently blood thirsty. Shuddering, no, Ana wouldn't want that.. Running around during the Spring was a big enough problem for her health, the lack of breath already was proof. The going was slow and it wasn't till the afternoon till she finally made it half way towards the springs.

Bored with this walk, a bag full of clothes and feet beginning to throb from the constant activity she was going through the past few days. Ana stopped and took the wooden flute out to examine it a bit; maybe even practice a tad with it. Really, it had been an on the whim descision to buy this thing and she didn't even know how to play it.. Thinking to herself confusedly as she traced the rough yet smoothly carved surface of the wood. Bringing it up to her nose, Ana brought it close to her nose to get a wiff of it as she continued her journey on to the hot springs before finally bringing the wrong end of it to her mouth. Blowing into the hole, she was dissapointed when only a whoosh of air sounded rather than a musical note. Trying again, she was getting confused.. Before she finally tried the correct end, and to her delight the sound of a musical note popped into the air.

Without any real guidance, or melodic tune or skilled hand. Ana took the joy of making an irritating noise with the flute at a constant the rest of the way, childish in her manner as she was being; she simply could not help it, the item amused her to no end. Once she had gotten to the hot springs, Ana paid the required fee and was left to undress in the changing room and thus finally getting to take a much needed bath in the common springs with the soap she had purchased earlier, hopefully it wouldn't be all that crowded.

OOCSince most of Anas posessions were destroyed in the storm, I figured I might as well get her some stuff.

Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

Postby Jean on March 20th, 2012, 1:32 am

So far, Jean wasn't sure whether she liked Sunberth or not. Right before she'd entered the city, she'd been attacked. The bruises were finally healing, but most of her body was tender and she still had a nasty black eye. The past few days she'd spent holed up in her tend, not wanting to wander the city while she was still so sore. In case she got attacked again, which wasn't unlikely in this petching city, she wanted to be able to fight back. Next time, she promised herself she'd do some major damage to any thug who thought they could steal from her.

After a couple of days of only going out to work Lebanon, she couldn't take it anymore. She needed a bath, very badly. She wasn't muddy or sweaty, she just smelled awful and her hair had gotten all oily. So Jean finally encouraged herself to get out and take a bath. What had she been thinking, just sitting around so long? That wouldn't happen again. To keep it off her skin, her hair was piled on top of her head in a messy bun, and she had her backpack stuffed with her brushes, soap, a handful of miza, and fruit for a snack. Most of the people she asked, suggested she go to the Aquillar Springs.

It took Jean a while to get there, and she got lost more times than she would ever admit, but she finally made it. She could practically feel the water already. A bath at that point would've been better than 50 gold miza falling right at her feet. She paid the small fee for the common springs, changed out of her cloths, stored her things to the side where she could keep an eye on them, and got into the water with her soap. The spring felt so good she couldn't help but sigh, and she dipped underwater to get her hair wet, then reclined back and closed her eyes. I really needed this, I can't believe I went so long without a bath, she thought, chiding herself for being so foolish. The water felt amazing on her bruises.

There were other people in the spring, but Jean didn't care to pay attention to them. She thought she deserved to rest and pamper herself for at least a few minutes, without bothering to worry about anything or anyone else.

Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

The springs were not so lively as Ana had thought they would be, but there were others regardless. There were a few people relaxing in the springs, none of them really caught Anas eye as she walked in with her things held awkwardly before setting them down towards a wall. Using her rags as a sort of cover for her newly purchased items, it was a special precaution she was taking.. After all they were just newly bought, she wouldn't want anyone getting the idea she had something of worth to be stolen from. There were some others bags here and she wondered if that was the new spot to place things, crouching she looked over her shoulder to the springs.

Ana wanted to be in the springs as fast as she could, being naked in public and even with a towel made her feel insecure with other peoples eyes. Though they were all naked for the bathing with towels around their privates, Ana couldn't help but wonder, and compare her own body to others in the bath. It was lanky, the bones were easily visible, her skin was bruised randomly here and there under the towel with no particular pattern forming on her skin. Hair greased and matted from an over extended period of time of no special care, no matter how hard Ana tried to run her fingers through the matted lumps it was of no use and only left her scalp throbbing from the strain of trying to break the rats nests up.

She wasn't pretty, not to anyone special she cared about at least. Besides, who would want to give her compliments when there was nothing good about her to say? Ana was only a gangly little thief anyways, a young woman in her early twenties that looked as if she were a child in height.. There was nothing special about her, in any way, shape, or form.. Although if she could have a glance at her own eyes, maybe they could be special to Ana, and Ana only? They were after all the same amber honeyed hue as her brothers, her fathers, and her grandfather before her. Remembering the comment her mother had made long ago about them, the thought at the time had cheered her up considerably..

Now it made her cringe, wrapping the towel around her body tighter, her brothers eyes flashing in her mind as his last moments were had.. Shaking her head and focusing at what was at hand. Letting her hands roam through some bags for any valuables, looking back towards the bag she pocketed whatever she could into her own packed full bag. Ana never had the time to examine what she picked up as she heard something akin to anger behind her, had she been caught? Yes.

Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

Postby Jean on March 24th, 2012, 1:39 am

Her auburn hair was floating around her shoulders in the hot water, which she was neck deep in. Her eyes were closed and she was thinking about what had happened so far since she'd been in the city. It was crazy here, but she was almost starting to like it. Jean stretched her arms above her head, wincing slightly as her sore muscles protested. They were starting to feel better though. This bath had been a good idea. She opened her eyes to check her things.

There was a small blonde woman crouched in front of her bag, and she narrowed her eyes suspiciously. Hopefully the woman just happened to be setting her things right next to Jean's. But just in case, she stood in the water and waded over to the side closest to the girl. As she got closer, she realized the little thief was filching her stuff. Her lips pulled back in an angry grimace. With a lot of loud splashing and sloshing, she climbed out of the spring, and not bothering to wrap up in a towel, approached the small blonde from behind. "Hey! What do you think you're doing? Are you out of your petching mind?"

Her voice was an angry growl, and she grabbed the woman by her little shoulder, yanking her to her feet and turning her around. The girl was a lot smaller than Jean in every way. She was bony and looked like she'd been lying around for a while without a proper grooming. Jean didn't care though, she wouldn't stand by and let anyone steal her things. She shook the woman roughly like a little rag doll, and shoved her into the wall they were standing next to. "Give me my things, you little thief."

Jean's eyes were boiling like the hot water in the springs. Her naked skin was dripping wet, and there were several ugly yellow bruises mottling her body. She towered over the little thief, and unlike her, showed no bones. She was healthy, and her muscles were large for a woman. Between the two of them, comparatively, it would be like a kitten fighting a lion.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing? Are you out of your petching mind?"

The womans voice was sharp with anger as the sound of splashing water could be heard from behind, Ana snapped her head to who would be attacking her and did not like what she saw. A woman who seemed to be ten times bigger than Ana herself, her body bore bruises but that was to be expected in Sunberth, bruises, cuts, and scars; what surprised the smaller woman was this young woman appeared to be well taken care of. Not a single rib to be seen, nor skin hallowed and pocked, or even anything that resembled malnourishment.

While she had marched angerly up to Ana, the smaller girl had tried to get her fear stricken legs to flee. Just as they began to work correctly, it was too late as the bigger woman grabbed ahold of Anas shoulder and wrenched her to stand. Shaking her repeatedly, back and forth against the hard wall, the small thief did what she could do as she made pained grunts. Flailing her arms at the woman, hands balled tightly into fists she began trying to ungauge herself from the hard gripped hands.

When this did not work, with her back against the wall she lashed out with a foot to try and push her away! "You shouldn't have left your stuff in the," with a brief pause to regain her breath, Ana brought a loosely fisted hand upwards to try and backhand the woman in the face "o-open!" It was common courtesy afterall, you leave your posessions out and they're game for picking up when no ones looking. Though that didn't stop someone from beating the crap out of you for being caught..

ooc :
x_x; Not good with fighting.. so if this seems iffy..//sorry//

Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

The small woman kicked out of her, but Jean shifted away. She saw the hand a little too late, and as she was rearing back to avoid it, it clipped her in the mouth. Even the thief's rabid flailing hadn't really hit her, but this did. It didn't really hurt, but it kind of stung. She frowned darkly, grabbing her thin wrist and yanking her away from the wall. Grappling with her for a moment, Jean picked her up, and with just a little effort, threw her into the spring.

The few people who were there and had been watching protested loudly and started moving farther away. They didn't want to be right in the middle of it, but they still wanted to see the show.

"I didn't want to have to deal with this today. I was supposed to get some petching relaxation!" she yelled to the woman. Gritting her teeth and wading back into the water, she sloshed over the thief, hauled her arm back, and punched her square in the nose. "When we're done here, I think I'll take your petching things instead! Maybe then you'll learn to keep your sticky fingers in your own pockets!" Her face was red with anger, and she was tense, just in case this little thing could throw a good hit after all.

OOCIt's okay, this will be my first acted out fist fight on here! The post is kind of short because I don't want to totally take over the fight and like, godmod or something.

Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

"What the?!" Ana gave a surprised yelled as she was clean swept off her feet, only to know the feeling of flight briefly. It was a wonderful feeling, really, if only she wasn't being thrown into the hot water of the springs though! The impact seemed to be sharp and the collision of body to rock made her give a bubblish scream of sudden pain. Throbbing stings travelled up her shoulders and the water began to shoot up her nose, filling her mouth and generally choking her, with a splutter and a flail the thief desperately got her head above the water. Wherever had the towel gone? Well, that wasn't really what mattered right now..

She was not safe yet, with chest heaving to breathe and cough the water out, she was punched right in the face! The face! Anas head reeled back in pain, dazed suddenly, a warm liquid travelling down her lip and into her mouth. The taste of iron permeated the cavity and made her splutter, it was when Ana caught hold of the words the woman had said that made her reach out for the womans face.

With a grip, she had managed to grab onto her hair and tug sharply. No way was Ana going to let some stranger take her newly bought items! No, petching, way. Growling, suddenly very angry with the woman also for having the audacity to notice her those few moments before. Why couldn't anything just let her have the petching luck to get away with stealing?! Yanking, Ana brought a fist upwards from the water, the movements and the force was severely delayed due to the water but Ana lashed again, blindly, while trying to keep a firm grip on her hair.

Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

Postby Jean on March 27th, 2012, 12:56 pm

Jean felt a grim satisfaction as she saw the woman bleed. Just her short time in this city was hardening her, making her more willing to fight for herself instead of try any sort of diplomatic approach. But she was surprised to see the thief fight back so suddenly and so strongly. For a little thing, she could dish it out quite well. But why was she surprised? It was Sunberth after all.

She felt the fingers tangle in her hair and yank, making her scalp sear. It felt like the skin was being pulled off her skull and she shrieked in pain and rage. Then the woman's arm came out of the water and she felt a fist collide with her throat, right at the base of her chin. Jean made a sort of choked grunt, then gasped painfully. It wasn't an extremely hard hit, but that was a sensitive area.

Without thinking, she reached up and savagely clawed at the girl's face, raking nails across her skin. A fingers came back bloody, and this renewed her efforts. Throwing herself at the woman, she locked her arms around her back, picked her up again, then slammed her down onto the rocky edge of the pool, putting all her weight into it. Her arms, under the woman, were beat and scraped against the rock, which petching hurt, but she'd worry about that later. There would be bruises, but the thief would have some too.

"You had to steal my things, of all the people in here!" she growled, straddling the girl as she lay on the rocks. "I admit, this isn't my cup of tea, but you have to know it's your own fault." She was panting and wiping wet hair out of her face, grimacing as her older bruises flared. This wasn't helping her heal from earlier encounters.

Still Ana tried to defend herself, when the womans nails caught her face she felt a sharp thing nick into her skin around her face, giving out something akin to a growl of pain and schriek as a now bloodied nail grazed onto one of her own eyes. Luckily Ana had her eyes shut tightly but still, a cut to the eyelid was enough to make anyone fearful for their vision but even more so to the prospect of losing said eye through a gouging. Lucky, lucky, lucky that this was not the case as the woman pulled away, only to lift Ana once again.

As the little thiefs chest slammed to the hard rock, feeling her pitifully small breasts pinch in the most uncomfortable way. Giving a startled squeek, Ana simply was too small to fight against someone who was much bigger than her. Whatever posessed her to fight this evil, evil, observant woman?! The pressure on her chest increased with the womans consistant pushing, snide comments, rude, hurtful words filled her ears of how weak she was, what a useless petching girl she was. She wanted to shout her frustration, she wanted to kick and scream because of the anger boiling under the lid of her sanity yet she could not.. Ana could not bring herself to fight the woman anymore.

With a choked sob, tears began to run down her face at her weaknesses. Anas body hurt, but that wasn't what was making her cry; just the fact she was petching weakling who wasn't good at anything she did, a flood of heat filled her face and body as she was wracked with shuddery and choked sobs. Ana tried to hold her breath to keep from becoming loud, she didn't want this stranger to see her crying.. Nor any of the other occupants, squeezing her eyes tight, releasing the breath of air held inside Ana felt only worse. Anas body was beginning to shiver reguarly, whether from the air or the water- it began to slowly lax under the womans tight grip.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Blubbering at her words, an idea came to mind as she sniffed to try and unclog the wretched gunk flowing out of it called snot, or was it blood? Would the woman be merciful? No.. Perhaps not "if you kill or steal from me," she paused- realizing just what she was saying.. Her words hushed to a whisper, was she really going to threaten someone "C-cades g-going to have your h-h-head.." Biting her lip, the rock against her head felt cool compared to the hot sensation of the hotsprings, she was feeling woozy, dizzy, almost sick. Ana didn't actually know if Cade would do this, or even if Wren would do something akin to this, but it was worth a shot to bluff it.

Cat Fight in The Hotsprings! (Jean)

Postby Jean on March 30th, 2012, 1:16 am

She could feel the woman's body start to shake with tremors and tears. Guilt and regret flashed through Jean's mind, but she shook it off. Gritting her teeth, she repositioned her hold on the thief, getting a better grip. But it was pointless. She felt the woman's body relax as she gave up. There was a grim satisfaction in the thought of winning this fight, but she pushed the feeling away.

Then she threatened Jean hilariously. She chuckled into the woman's ear, shoulders shaking with mirth. "Cade, have my head on a platter? If he saved you, he'd probably take all your stuff and more than I was planning, and then some!" She smiled indulgently. "I bet you didn't expect me to know him, did you? We met my first day in the city. He saved me, took some coin, and we hit it off rather well, albeit the circumstances and the fact he's real rough around the edges. Not much for being a charmer."

I've beaten her, so I doubt she'll try anything. And if she does, I imagine I can overpower her again, she thought. Slowly, to let the woman know ahead of time what she was doing, Jean released her hold. Sloshing backwards through the water, she allowed the thief some space. Her jaw was set grimly, and her brows were furrowed, making her forehead wrinkle. "No funny business. Just return my things, and we can try and forget this mess. That's all I want. My things." There was a threatening finality to her voice, making it obvious that she wasn't going to argue.

Her body hurt. Even though the woman was small, she'd given some good hits. There would be bruises, and she'd be sore for a while, maybe even a few days. The hot water felt amazing though, helping to relax her tense and throbbing muscles, even though she was only about stomach deep. Her bare arms and chest were exposed to the cooler air, giving her goosebumps where the water had cooled. There were some red welts visible on her skin.
