Do you not see the hand that reaches Creating the lines of blue that stretch Across that open canvas?" Kilik has a soul filled with music. To him the world has a rhythm, an underlying tune that plays out as life. His life is spent trying to capture the beauty and music of the world in a form that he can share with others, whether it be in the beat of a drum or sung from his lips. Kilik loves to meet new people, as every new experience brings a new 'chord' into his life, adding to the symphony that is him. "Music is everywhere. It lives inside everything. Every plant, rock, or living creature has a song. When one comes into contact with another, even for the briefest of moments, their song is changed. We all harmonize with each other." Kilik was born on the sands of Eyktol under the desert sun. His family spent their days travelling along the coastal region to the northeast, often coming close to the border of Cyphrus. As a child, Kilik would often look out across the land that sprouted the grassy plains, wishing to go and explore. Even as he grew older, his father always spoke of his wandering spirit. Kilik's mother would sing him lullabies to ward away the desert night, teaching him as he began to join in with her. When Kilik came of age where he was old enough to begin siring sons of his own, he told his family that he wished to travel Mizahar and experience as mush as he could. His family, while sad to see him go, encouraged him to follow his own path. There was always a home for him in the desert. His first years were spent travelling through Cyphrus and Syliras regions, learning all he could about the people and culture of the people, before learning of Lhavit and its sparkling towers. The wasn't a doubt in his mind in where he would be heading next, and he left for Kalea the next day. |
