Parah Physical Description Name: Parah Race: Human Age: 19 Birthday: 25 Summer, 492 AV Parah's physical appearance would best be described as 'sweet'. She is not stunningly beautiful or seductively sultry; her face is innocent and open, nearly the face of a child, or the simple daughter of a farmer. She is short, and clearly feminine, but a life of labor has made her arms and legs strong and slightly stocky. Her hair is a soft black, and curls lightly. For practical purposes she usually keeps it tied in a bun, but when entertaining her masters' guests in a more intimate way, she lets it loose. Parah bears Ravok's mark of slavery, a black half-sun on the back of her hand. Character Concept Parah is a slave born of slaves. She is seemingly the perfect servant; loyal and obedient. From birth she has served, and has been trained to entertain and please her masters and their associates with her talented hands, through massage, or with the rest of her body. She is also skilled at gaining information from those associates; her sweet face tends to inspire either trust, or underestimation; both aid her in leaning information from her bedfellows. While Parah has given herself to many, she still views herself as a pure person; she considers her body a tool of her masters, and does not hold herself responsible for what they do with it. Parah is a happy girl, despite her situation; she often prays to Nikali, to help her endure and even enjoy her servitude. Having never had a taste of freedom, she does not long for it. Character History For most of her life, Parah was a well-treated slave, kept healthy and mostly content by her masters. However, there came a time when they could no longer afford to keep her, and she was sent to market. She thought she had been saved when Yaotl purchased her; surely such a beautiful mistress would also be kind. She was sorely mistaken on that account. Yaotl has so far been a brutal mistress. Parah would be able to adapt easier if Yaotl's violent actions were not also peppered with affection; Yaotl keeps Parah in decent clothing, to reflect well on Yaotl herself, sometimes even adorning her with jewelry and cosmetics. Parah never knew what to expect from her. Parah's faith in Nikali has grown much in Yaotl's service.
