Kalila watched Ximal in fascination, trying to memorize his movements so that she could copy them . He moved quickly, much quicker that she ever thought possible for someone so much larger than her, but it was quite intriguing to watch and she found herself grinning at him. He almost seemed to be trying to prove himself, both to her and his brother, and she wondered if that age old rivalry was present here as well. "Do not apologize Ximal, you did nothing wrong. I actually appreciate that more than a lecture,"she said with a smile at the younger man, shifting a bit as the other man stepped forward.

If she was surprised about Ximal moving her into position, she was even more surprised when Leon position himself behind her, taking control of her upper body and molding her to him as his fingers danced along her skin, walking her through a series of hits and jabs. Her eyes widened in surprise and the flushed once again, the position feeling strangely intimate as his breath tickled her ear when he spoke, his voice low in her ear. This was.....different. She found that she was not able to concentrate as much as she would have liked and she vainly tried to remember what he was saying, finding amusement in his reference to a snake. If only they knew.

"I can ssee your point,"she said just as softly, her small body dwarfed by his and the blush evident on her cheeks as she looked over at Ximal who looked highly uncomfortable. "Flowing sshould come naturally then, jusst ass all thingss....I will not have a problem with that." She then moved away from Leon, taking a calming breath as she did so. "What about footwork, that iss important to yesss?"

{Western Wilds} A nice day for training. (Ximal and Leon)

Damn his brother to the seven hells and beyond. Damn him fo not havign Xi's issues. And damn him for sticking his head in where it was not wanted she asked Xi not Leon. In a fit of irritation Xi strolled over to the tree latched onto the branch and rolled his weight up onto the tree, the same way an acrobat would and slammed his feet deftly onto the branch and proceeded to beat the living hell from the tree. Flicking through five - seven differnet styles that varied in both power and speed. Then he reached his brothers style and punched a limb of the tree completely shearing it from the trunk and sending it flying in the opposite direction from his brother. He did all this without using flux once. And by the gods his knuckles hurt. Feeling a fire of anger burning lightly it slowly flickered. Moving his hands again he rolled himself even higher into the tree and continued his vicious assault on the timber. Still his muscles wouldn't relax. Then he remembered the other two could be watching him. He sat on the branch and let his mind flicker in thought. Only when a flicker of rage or a more powerful emotion than embarrassment shot forth did his mind clear. Taking a deep breath and sliding from the tree catching himself on the branches with his hands to slow the speed of his descent. He landed back in the grassy earth. And sat against the tree, it was better for him to vent his anger and other thing by smashing a tree to pieces than it was fighting or letting his anger build. With an almost callous tone he closed his eyes as he fell against the tree, into a seated position.

"If you need me, i'm here." His speech inflection gone because he now wasn't looking at her and also was feeling that spark of rage ignite and devour every other emotion. Sitting at the base of the tree he just took some tome eyes closed to collect his thoughts and let his anger quell. He hadnt been in a bad mood for a long while now but when ever his brother seemed determined to show him up, he just couldnt help himself. He turne dinto some jealous brat who broke thing s when he didnt get his way. and how he hated it, that's where this spark of fury sprouted from, and where he shot forth his mindset of, not hating but wanting to beat the living daylights out of his brother. Another couple of weeks and he might just be able too... I'll let him train here and when he screws up because he cant think of anything other than trying to get her to go out with him lets how she fares. I just want to make sure she can defend herself and he wants to make her come to his god-damned bedroom. He could feel the searing sparks of fury grate against him as his dark ide crept it's ugly head up again. With a powerful emotion that side of him always wanted to burst forth. Taking another deep breath he quieted it, swiftly.

"Footwork is as important as the movement of the body. In combat, everything is one, and one is everything. Whether it is your opponent or you, it must all move as one." Leon spoke into her ear, shaking his head at his little brother. The fool must think him a jealous male, but still, Leon was teaching her a lesson his mother taught him. Ximal would need it, that is why he spoke up. He didn't care about rivalry, a pretty woman chose who she wished, "It is like a dance, Kali." He spoke softly as he moved her body, striking and retreating, dancing forward and back. "In dance you follow a lead, in combat, you must take it. Do not simply react, instead, you must act. Take the strikes that are open, that are sure. Do not fall for simple tricks. Otherwise..." He sighs, shaking his head as his wrist as revealed, a single scar that ran up towards his hand, "You may lose a hand, or your very life. My mother taught me well in this, and it saved my life once...But cost me some days healing."

Kalila did not know exactly had set off Ximal so bad, but she could roughly guess it was because of the way Leon was teaching her at the moment. She was no fool. She could feel the slight bit of tension in the air as she watched him strike the tree before settling down and watching them, and she wondered what he was thinking before she was caught up in what Leon was teaching her, bringing her mind back to concentration.

She quickly focused on her body's movements, the continuous motion like a deadly dance that she desperately needed to remember. Fighting was not something that she relished, but she could not keep acting as if she did not need the knowledge. Sunberth was dangerous, as was the rest of the world, and being a healer left her vulnerable to all kinds of things. She could feel the sweat starting to bead on her brow as Leon continued to go through the fast motions, urging her body to repeat and remember. His voice was soft in her ear and once he paused for a moment, a scar was revealed along his wrist, an old injury that was a reminder of something more. She moved away from him and placed her hands delicately on his wrist, her fingers running over the scar there. "We all have our remindersss Leon,"she said softly, looking back up at him and smiling. "Perhapsss we should take a ressst." She then tugged on his wrist gently to lead him over to where Ximal sat brooding under the tree, her backpack nearby. She sat down next to Ximal, urging Leon to do the same and began to pull out her waterskin and some bread and cheese that she had taken with her that morning, wanting to share it with the two men in gratitude for what they had done for her.

"It iss not much, but pleasse take ssome ass thankss," she said with a smile, offering some of her lunch to them both. She turned to Ximal suddenly, looking down at his hands. "Can I look at your handss Ximal? I do not want them to be hurt,"she said it softly to him, a warm smile on her face.

{Western Wilds} A nice day for training. (Ximal and Leon)

Xi had his eyes closed, not caring of the world around him until they came over. He could heir their foot steps in the grass, his brother trying to be clever by telling him to watch out. Battle was likely to change at a moments notice. Xi couldn't help but feel a little insulted by that remark. He'd seen masters fighting, he'd fought bull in the training ring at the pits, he knew about the issues of combat. Still he said nothing and just kept trying to hold the animal with in him at bay. The beast that wanted to break forth and sew insanity everywhere. Xi kept his eyes closed doing battle with the demon within. Though as the footsteps came over he heard kalia speak. His eyes clamped almost, she was making an offering, Xi want particularly hungry but his knuckles and hands stung, he'd hit that tree a little too hard. Then, she offered to have a look at his hands. He spoke now without inflection in his voice. Battling with his inner self always did that too him, he could always control himself when the voice spoke up and started it's assault, after having let him out twice liro was getting stronger. Still speaking without issue in his voice, he spoke to kalia. "If it's alright with you, after all it was my foolishness. I have a problem with forgetting how strong i am and what the limits of my body are. After all i'm only human." Though now his mind stung, Liro was assaulting him and neither Leon nor kalia, could know about his issues with liro. I want to come out and PLAY!

Xi faught back liro and lifted his hands infront of kalia. His knuckles were bleeding lightly and his right hand was cut across the plam lightly. He still gritted his teeth as he opened his eyes to look at Leon and Kalia. His pain not from his injuries but the mental war with Liro, which continually raged. "You really dont have to kalia, after all it was my fault that this happened." His words were sweet and sincere but not over powering, he wasn't as suave as his brother but, then he wasn't trying to be. Nor did he even need to be. After all, in a fight, it makes no differeance as to gender.

"Twas not foolishness brother." He sighed, wishing he could make Xi understand without insult Kali. The woman wasn't a normal human, he could sense something more animal about her. But still, he nods to her offer, biting off a bit of cheese, and taking a swallow of the water. "Thank you. Xi...You are strong my brother, and wise. I just want to make sure you don't embarrass yourself." He frowns softly, "I do worry for you my brother. Never know when a snake may hide its colors." He said to his brother gently.

Kalila gently took hold of Ximal's hands and turned them over in hers, noting that his knuckles were a bit scratched and he had a small cut on his palm, but it was nothing to serious. She placed his hands in her lap and then pulled her backpack closer, pulling out a small roll of bandages a salve that she always kept there and set them beside her. She then took her waterskin after Leon had finished with it and wet a small cloth she had and then began to clean his hands gently, knowing that they had probably stung. "It iss not to ssay to control one'ss sstrength Ximal, but one'ss emotionss,"she said softly as she then spread a bit of the salve onto his hands and badaged them up, smiling at him when she had finished.

She was putting away her things as she listened to Leon speak, all of it directed towards Ximal.....but one comment caught her attention. Her head whipped around at the mention of a snake hiding and her eyes widened in panic, not understanding it if he said it on purpose. Did he know her secret? She did not look any different from a normal human, except perhaps her mannerisms. A hand reached up to twirl her fingers into her curls and she looked back at her backpack, suddenly uneasy. "Yess, you n-never know w-where they may be h-hiding,"she stammered, another blush rising in her cheeks.

Even with the state he was in, Xi could still joke around. With liro snapping at his mind, he could still joke with his bother. "Hehehe i do this and already your getting sombre? Dear gods i scuffed my hands, i'mma do worse than this in my life. And thanks kalia you didn't have to, i woulda been fine ina couple of days." Twisting his arms he showed where two fairly deep sword scars came across, the backs of his arms. " and that's not the worst one. Not by a long shot." He pulle doff his shirt to reveal a body with many little cuts and scrapes bruises and bumps and the scar over his right pectoral muscle. "Bro i know pain, trust me I can deal with my fair share." Then the remembered sa ha was near by but hell it was a nice day so he decided to keep his shirt off, and flex his muscles a bit. He listened to Leon make some comments about snakes, and then all fo a sudden kali got very timid, and shy. What was wrong with snakes. "Kali do you have, a fear of snakes by any chance?"

Xi look at her, i know what i want to do with her. I wanna... It doesn't matter what you want to do. Shut up for a while. Ive lost a lot through you, now shut up and be quiet. His now bandaged hands felt better. She really was a good healer. "Thank you kalia, my hands feel a lot better now." He beamed a smile to her and sat in the grass, facing the sky. "I'm sorry for having a temper moment. My emotions do often get the better of me, and it takes a while for me to just sit and let them rest again. One they do though, all my problems seem to melt back into nothing." His tone was warm and friendly, he meant his brother no harm but he couldn't help himself at points. He just had to sit back and take some time. And then it struck him he needed a shave. "Also on th scars front i've got another four beneath my beard on my right cheek. Dont ask how, it's not a pretty reason."

He watched Kali, noting her reaction to his words as he stepped forward, placing a arm between the female and his brother, leaning close to her, "You are not what you seem. I don't know what you are, beautiful one. But I know you won't hurt us. The snake comment was from my own past. However, if you hurt my little brother, I will not be very happy with you." The words were for her alone before he stepped back and looked at Xi "They give you character!" He laughed softly and moved back towards the spot he was standing in. He brings his hand up, focusing a bit on his palm as he sighs, thinking of that pyromancer he had seen when he was a child, "Wish I could do those tricks."

{Western Wilds} A nice day for training. (Ximal and Leon)

Postby Sahashkalila on April 13th, 2012, 4:53 pm

She hardly paid attention to what Ximal said, her attention fully on Leon. His words were not as comforting as she knew he intended them to be, a lingering threat in the air. That left her with a few options. She could pretend that nothing had passed between them and ignore it, but she did not think Leon would let it rest. She could shift and attempt to fight, but she knew that she would not be able to take them both, and she did not want to hurt anyone who was kind to her. That left her with telling them....and awaiting their reaction from her confession and just hope for the best. None of them were that comforting.

She shifted uncomfortabley where she sat, her stomach churning with nerves as she looked at both men. Ximal seemed somewhat oblivious to their brief interaction. She then folded her hands into her lap and sat in silence for a few moments, debating on what to do. She could only hope for the best with her decision, she was not there to hurt these men.

"I have no intentionsss of hurting anyone,"she said, slightly offended that Leon would think that she would. "You have both been very kind to me. I do not have any reasson to be afraid of sssnakesss Ximal....becausse I am one." She turned her golden eyes to look at Leon, a sad expression on her face. "I believe that ansswerss your quesstion."
