Hey!

I feel so new here, even though I'm really not. I created a character, got all excited, and then running my own freelance design business got in the way ... but always Pash hung out in the back of my mind and I longed to get back here. Here I am. Let's hope I can stay and make something awesome.

Anyway, I have no idea what to write about here yet, so I will share photos of my two babies:

This is my first, little E. He turned 2 on 3/20. He's full of awesomesauce and smiles and so many words. Love him.

This is our newest edition. A ton of solid cast iron from 1932—a Chandler & Price letterpress. We'll have 'er up and running in May as an expansion to our graphic design business. She's a beast.

I'd post a pic of the hubs, but he'd probably make a silly face.

I've been RP'ing since I could walk and talk, I suppose—stories in the back yard and down the hill and into the woods as a kid with my friends. Passing notebooks full of written stories in middle and high school. Emailed stories (sometimes with characters still existing from middle school) in college. Tabletop RP. Etc. Etc. It's been a part of my life and I've spent a couple of years missing it—years busy with our first baby and years busy learning to work for myself.

So, when I first created this character, I promised myself I wouldn't read any other Ethaefel CSes until I finished with mine. However, since I never truly felt the sheet was done a year ago, it's nice to have finally come back with fresh ideas and fleshed him out (with a few changes).

It also meant I could finally search ethaefel in the CS sub-forum.

And giggle at how there is a thread that connects us all, intentional or not.

Love that.

I would really like to have an all-eth fest in a thread. Just to see where it would go, conversation-wise. I see that Alvadas is a decent place to make that happen. Sweet.

Also, though I know I'm a little late in arriving, the Djed storm & aftermath excite me in an indescribable way. Incomprehensible surprises make me happy. Yes, I am mean.

I kind of love Pinterest. I found a couple of inspirational images for Pash's earthbound form tattoo additions since he's been re-deposited on Mizahar:

There were a few more, but I didn't want to spend hours on Pinterest by accident. I suppose now I just have to find some time to get drawing again.

Just gettin' myself in the mood to write about the Spring 512 djed storm and shipwrecks within swimming distance of Alvadas. It's gonna be a fun solo, people, so hang on tight!

Now, I'm gonna have to go ahead and redraw night-time Pash. Oh, how long will that take me? Seriously. I really want to change up the horns more than anything. I was never happy with 'em (too thick and clumsy looking in my original drawing).
