Basic Information Race: Eypharian Birthday & Age: 1 Spring 483 AV; 28 Gender: Female ![]() ![]() Physical Description A pure bred daughter of the ancient Eypharian nobility, born on the cusp of seasons thresholds, Izdihar idealizes the promise of spring. Clear water eyes not unlike an oasis are set amongst features of innocent aristocracy -- if there even is such a thing. Delicate of frame and elegant in motion, she boasts a full six arms of her race. Dark hair is usually bound up in intricate braids with brightly colored ribbons or bejeweled hair nets. While at work, she can usually be found dressed in darker, more stark attire, but when toiling within the circles of social and political intrigue, she is dressed as brightly and fashionably as any member of one of the Houses of the Four Winds. Character Concept ![]() Character History Izdihar is a daughter of the House of the West Winds and niece to the infamous Queen Dimourla. Born on first of Spring in 483 AV, her birth proceeded that of her brother's by no more than three minutes. She and Ibrahim's entrance into the world was considered to be fortuitous, a lucky date, according their mystical mother Ramla, to be born while the seasons shifted out of the barren frost of winter and into the cruel thaw of spring. Given all of the advantages of their noble blood, the twins spent the majority of their early years in and out of lessons and chasing each other through the orchards surrounding their ancestral home. Their father Dirames, head of the sprawling, entangled house, was a distant but omnipresent figure in their lives. The majority of their influence came from their mother and their Aunt Dimourla, both of whom took a vested interest in the twins education and upbringing. While Ibrahim was being groomed to eventually succeed their father in control of the house, Izdihar was being groomed to assist her brother with all of his eventual responsibilities. Instilled at an early age with fierce pride for their house, their culture, and their race, the life goals set before them were the advancement and glorification of the West Wind and, through that, the advancement and glorification of Ahnatep and the Eypharian race as a whole. ![]() The whirlwind did not overlook Dirames' children. They fell from the heights of budding ascension to the darker, deadlier floors of the house's inner workings. Young, precocious, and urged by their mother, the twins scrambled for what footholds left to them. Ibrahim, ever the less motivated of the pair, willingly allowed his sister to blaze the path for them into the snaking, dangerous business of mirage production and trafficking. It was in this fashion that Izdihar began gathering the information necessary to begin a long, shadow campaign against the reputations of her cousins, Mersaba's assumptive heirs whom she viewed as weak and unworthy of their house's leadership. Izdihar had sworn to herself to never, ever allow herself to be manipulated, used and ultimately betrayed by anyone, let alone her own family, as her beloved Aunt Dimourla had been. In this vein, she began building a sphere a power within the mirage business, performing an artful balancing act between Mersaba and the Giver so as to win neither's enmity yet both of their favor. The public is unaware of the noble socialite's shady dealings and she has managed to dodge multiple attempts of various family members to betroth her to someone she considered to be less than worthy of her ambitions. By the time she obtained the pinnacle of her youth, she was an influential figure within her house as well as within the city's underground. Of course, she glittered and the shine of her beauty, the glow of her youth made it difficult to see through to the tarnish the mirage business left behind, thereby saving what reputation her aunt and father's scandal had left her with. She is a determined woman with her eyes on a grand prize, but the face and form of fragile grace, of earnest, honorable intentions; and, in the end, who can say that they are not? Does anyone, even Ibrahim, actually know what they are? Training ![]() Skills
